The River Belle Inn

Staff was very accommodating from check in to handling requests to answering questions to check out. Loved the breakfast options from early in room coffee/tea to variety of breakfast items to choose from including times and seating areas. Grounds were well kept with a comfortable backyard setting overlooking the Russian River. Happy Hour with wine tasting and hors d'ouvres in the early evening was also very enjoyable.

not much to improve upon, but what would add value to the property and stay would be to create some kind of river access off the back yard, perhaps a small deck or landing.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the River Belle Inn, and I must say it was an enchanting experience. From the moment we arrived, I was greeted warmly by Brianna, the manager, who ensured that every aspect of our stay was delightful. She is so kind and thoughtful and a great resource for the area. One of the highlights of our stay was the happy hour hosted by Brianna and a few local wineries. It was a fantastic opportunity to sample some of the wines the region has to offer, all while enjoying the idyllic ambiance of the inn. The combination of great wine, excellent food that Brianna prepared and impeccable service made the happy hour a great experience. The location of the River Belle Inn couldn't be more perfect for wine tasting. Situated amidst the beauty of the Russian River, the inn offers a breathtaking view that is both serene and captivating. The surrounding area is filled with wineries and vineyards, making it an ideal destination for exploring the Sonoma Valley. Aside from wine-related activities, the inn's location also provides easy access to river fun and a variety of great restaurants. Whether you're looking to take a leisurely stroll, spend time at the river or eat at great restaurants, the options are plentiful. I must mention the inn itself, which truly resembles something out of a storybook. Its charming architecture and picturesque setting create a magical atmosphere that transports you to a different time and place. Every corner of the inn exudes charm and elegance, making it a perfect retreat for those seeking a memorable getaway. In short our stay at the River Belle Inn was nothing short of extraordinary. From the exceptional food and service to the delightful happy hour and stunning location, every aspect of my experience exceeded expectations. I highly recommend this inn to anyone looking for a remarkable stay amidst the beauty of the Russian River.

Breakfast choices were many and varied; all those selected were well prepared, appetizing and delicious. River Room was a lovely location with a beautiful outlook onto the bend in the river past the spreading and inviting garden to which we would like to return in a slightly warmer time of year to loll out in comfort in the afternoon. The staff, every one, was outstanding in approachability, friendliness and helpfulness. Top marks all around. The house was delightfully Victorian (even to one who is scornful of that era and style) and well maintained and clean.

In sort, Room 7. This room ought preferably to be a room with a single bed and some of the additional space then given to provision for hanging clothing. Most of all, first and foremost, that bed must be taken off the stands in order to lower it. In its present condition it is, in fact, a safety hazard as well as being inconvenient to guests. The room would still be as Victorian in appearance with a decided improvement in comfort.

Very nice setting in back of bed and breakfast. Very clean. Nice breakfast. Beautiful place. Nice staff.

The price was quite high. The location was average, though close to the town square ( which is nice) and the rooms were the size of a walk in closet - very small for a total of $500.00 per night. Do not eat the yogurt parfait for breakfast. I’ve never had such a sour yogurt . Otherwise breakfast is nice.

Wonderful location with view of river, gorges building, excellent service, great food & thoughtful help finding a restaurant.

The bathroom was lovely, but the size of the bedroom was very cramped especially considering the price. Two small chairs barely fit next to a very small table. When you stood up from the table you had to lean forward and duck in order not to hit you head on the TV that was protruding out from the wall. One had to carefully figure out where to place the suitcases in order to walk next to the bed.

Great selection of breakfast options all made on order that you select the evening before. The location is convenient short walk to Healdsburg. Bike rentals just across the street. The team are amazing check in process, tour and happy hour makes it feel like a home away from home. Very calm views to sit and relax by the Russian River.

Pillows were soft for my liking

just about everything is great- breakfast is phenomenal- staff is over the top - coffee is brought to your room each morning. The building and grounds are gorgeous and it sits right on the river - It’s a delightful place to stay

There was only one thing that could have been improved on and that was the bedding- we had a queen size bed but the bedding was more like it fit a double so the sheets and blanket were not big enough for two people.

The staff go above and beyond here - breakfast and services are available all included and delicious. Despite grey weather on our visit the gardens were lovely too.

Our room had one curtain that only covered the lower portion of the window and one window in the back that didn’t have a curtain at all. It was just a bit of an odd design choice.

The property is stunning, immaculate and has beautiful indoor and outdoor space to lounge, dine and relax. The view is beautiful, the breakfast was perfect, the staff was gracious and so helpful with arranging wine tastings for us and offering to assist with dinner reservations. We stayed 3 nights and had a great time during Happiest Hour eating fresh made pizza and tasting wines, and at breakfast which was made to order and perfect. The other guests were so delightful and we had a great time chatting (& laughing) with them. We appreciated the walk into town and back after dinner through a quiet lovely neighborhood (15 minute walk). We needed to walk off the fabulous wining and dining in town. The Inn is a short drive from countless vineyards. We highly recommend this Inn & the town of Healdsburg. We look forward to returning in the future.

Loved everything!

The location was perfect, the views were breathtaking and the staff was impeccable! From Brianna to Chef James, everyone was amazing, very friendly and accommodating! They made us feel so welcome! Will definitely be returning! Such a charming hotel!
