Regency Golf - Hotel Urbano

The free breakfast was much better than we expected. We don't usually skip free breakfast because they tend to be at low quality but we ended up going every day. They had different kinds of bread and pastries of good quality. They had ham, cheese, hard-boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, etc. The coffee was strong and hot tea for tea was actually hot (sadly at many hotels, hot water tends to be just warm).

The safe in the room wasn't working, or difficult to use. We had to ask for help twice. The technician came very quickly. The blackout curtains were difficult handle and didn't close completely. We had to improvise to find a way to sloe them using hair clip.

We had an awesome room with a smaller alcove room with a narrow twin bed. It was perfect. Great location close to a market with delicious fruits n veggies n cheeses. The staff were very helpful n friendly n the breakfast was varied, fresh and delicious much more than. European breakfast of patries n croissants. The only issue wS limited parking but fortunately we were able to obtain the last parking spot under the hotel. I would definitely return!

On site parking, breakfast included, location. One of the reception staff members was very professional and carried out requests effortlessly.

The car park was a bit tight and you would enter and exit via a car lift. The breakfast: coffee was weak, and the scrambled eggs electric pan (to keep contents warm) appeared to have been switched off or unserviceable, thus the eggs were cold.

The stay was very good! The room had microwave and electric termo. These is very good for me, that I drink mate every day. The Staff were very friendly.

In the add had "parking free", but the car parking was in two quarters ago, and those days it was raining in Montevideo. It was the bad question about the Regency Golf Hotel. It is important to say that I traveled with my own car, not a rented car.

Excellent stay. Great staff especially Ignacio and Augustin the front desk managers. They handled our check-in in a professional manner while managing several guests. Our room was very clean and housekeepers wonderful. Highly recommend. We will return for sure. Thanks for super stay.

THE CLEANESS, THE RESTAURANT, THEIR BREAKFAST AS WELL AS THE DINNER. THE ONLY THING IS THE DFFICULTY WITH THE PARKING BUT THEY WORKED IT OUT FOR US ALSO THE BATH TUB IS TOO HIGH FOR SOMEONE WITH INCAPACITIES TO REACH THE FLOOR BUT THE REST WAS VERY GOOD. FEDERICO IN THE RESTAURANT AND THE REST OF THE DINING STAFF WERE VERY NICE

Breakfast was pretty good and the hotel is located very close to ounta carretas shopping and a 15 minutes walk from the beach.

the price tag to ordering from QR code menu had different prices from ordering directly on restaurant. And i always paid the biggest price. =(

I really enjoyed the location (Punta Carretas), it's not close to the old downtown but it's a really good neighbourhood and the Hotel Staff are really good and they offer some good meals with discount there. I enjoyed my stay there and I recommend it.

Overall it is very well kept, ther is attention to detail . I do recommend this place If i have to point to somfehing.. the hot water takes a bit of tome kick in.. My advice you need to loop the hot water. . That way the upper floors.. get instant hot water

It's always a pleasure to stay at this hotel. Great location, quality no frills facilities, friendly and professional staff.

This is a nitpick but they placed a nice steel lamp on the room's desk yet there was no outlet anywhere near to power the lamp (or my laptop for that matter.)
