The hotel was very comfortable. We had a sitting area with a mini fridge and tea making facilities and bedroom with TV. Very comfortable bed and had a good night sleep. The location was near the town centre and about a 30 minute walk to the train station. The hotel was quiet and there was a park nearby.

The only thing that I didn't like was the shower. It was a walk in shower but there was no screen, so when you put on the shower the water was going everywhere which could prove dangerous especially as the toilet was in that position also and the floor was wet and slippery until it dried out. There was a sliding door to the shower room which could only be closed from the inside so you could see the toilet and wash hand basin and the wet floor when you were in the bedroom . Metal steps going up to the room, could prove to be a hazzard if steps became wet.

The room as excellent value, clean and tidy plenty of different choices of tea/coffee in the tea tray. Gina was really friendly and helpful, I look forward to returning as soon as possible. Plenty of parking and I had nice view over looking a park. They don't offer breakfast, but it's only a short walk into town and no breakfast suited me better. The Thai restaurant on site was amazing the food is cooked to order and excellent value I have already recommended this place to both work colleagues, friends and family

The rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable and everything that you would expect was provided.

There was very little air in the rooms, the temperature was very high as the weather was particularly warm when we stayed. Fans and an air conditioning unit were provided but it would have been nice to have been able to throw the windows open.

Great staff and very friendly and efficient. Great Location, easy to reach town, just a few minutes walk from High Street.

Just the bathrrom on the same floor, as it was up very narrow steps and the lighting needs to be a bit brighter, but not too much. We were showed a room first with a good bathroom but the room itself was too small and it was at the front of the property. We wanted peace and quiet. To change rooms was no problem at all, and the room we got was a good size and quiet, so we slept very well.

Host very welcoming and obviously cared about you having somewhere nice to stay. Room was lovely, not your usual box shape room and very clean. Toiletries available. Fan already on in the room, black out curtains. Next to the park and close to town centre. Food in the restaurant was best Thai food we've ever eaten. Park at the actual hotel if you can not free public car park next door. Safe in the room and complimentary bottles if water in a fridge.

A little pricey, paid 75 for a Thursday night. No hair drying or iron. Upon request for an iron it arrived in minutes. No signage from the road to say how your get into the building. Future reference its the restaurant entrance. Parked in car park next to the hotel, rained over night puddles everywhere car in 3 inches of water. Ate in the restaurant, two drinks came to £15

Easy to access, nice wash room and addition of a fan in the room was fantastic with the hot weather.

The access to rooms as key codes was easy for us to use but an elderly couple across the hall struggled a little entering the code which we assisted with.

The staff at this hotel are so helpful and friendly. They could not do enough to help us, carrying bags, changing our room for a more suitable one for us (personal reasons), and sending us on our way with take-away coffees for our journey. The rooms offered everything needed. The location was excellent for a local wedding venue.

The whole ambience of the Thai Vintage was to our liking and we have to say the food - was, without doubt, the best Thai food we have ever tasted. It was absolute delight.

Our lovely room was on the cold side when we arrived. We reported our concerns to the receptionist and we are delighted to say a free standing heater was supplied to supplement the central heating. Our room was warm and cozy when we returned to it after our gorgeous meal.

Easy parking and restaurant with Thai food. Quiet, views across park. We had sitting room as well as bedroom with fridge Owners extremely friendly and accommodating

No breakfast, we were aware of this so took our own

Location by a park so quite apart from the nesting birds in the roof. No breakfast at place and no local amenities to source either near bye. Rooms vary in size and spec but all fine and good VFM
