Carden Park Hotel, Golf Resort and Spa

Carden Park has something for everyone. I have been a regular customer for many years both Leisure and Business and it is excellent all round. Hotel and Spa Garden & Thermal Suite facilities are top class. Classy decorated lounges and bars. Staff are attentive and friendly. Pristine clean throughout the hotel. Gardens beautifully maintained with unique sculptures. 2 golf courses of choice.

Nothing with regard to Carden Park. It can be pricey with booking.com so check with hotel also direct for possibly a more competitive price. Or request a price match if the cost difference varies significantly to get the best deal.

The Spa, the lounges, Redmonds, the bedroom, the weather, the setting, the wet room in our room. Contact less check in and out. Cash machine, sculpture garden. The alterations to the Vines, the afternoon tea area,the outdoor seating area, the Spa Garden, the restaurant in the Spa

Rooms were too warm. Drinks were overpriced, housekeeping were talking outside our door quite early in the morning. Unable to visit Spa garden as fully booked, unable to eat in the Vines as not open on Weds evenings. Lack of dress code in Redmonds for dinner. Some people were in shorts and trainers. Lack of room service.

Hotel was well decorated and amenities very good

Bed was a little small for 2 adults to share and a bit hard but everything else was lovely.

We visited the spa for a morning and stayed for one evening. The hotel was very nice. Staff very friendly. After our spa morning we had lunch in the spa and then checked into the hotel. The room wasn’t ready so we sat on the patio terrace and had a drink. We had an estate view room which was lovely looking into the front of the grounds. We used the spa facilities within the hotel including the hydrotherapy pool and these were an added bonus. We decided to go to a local pub for a meal so only had breakfast at the property which was very good with plenty of hot and cold buffet choices.

Whilst the rooms were comfortable they weren’t luxurious and I felt that the rate was slightly high especially as the spa is charged separately.

Lovely comfortable accommodation, great breakfast with lots of choice. Recently refurbished in bar and reception/lounge areas. Friendly welcoming staff.

Missed the local information/attraction leaflet’s usually available in the foyer and hotel information/magazines in the room.

The food at the restaurant was very nice.the spa is a must if you visit this space .I was there for 4 hours and I could have stayed there all day, you get a complimentary lunch that consists of on a plate no drink no starters not dessert if you want anything else it will cost you more. We had a couples massage it was the divine best part of my visit then you get different rooms to just chill out after just before going back to the main spa areas. The outdoor pool and Jacuzzis in this cold weather is just brilliant I can't wait to be back there again.

There were no sleepers available in the room it would have been nice.also the internet connection is extremely bad it keeps on disconnecting everything 10 mins . I'm with the 02 network and the reception was null maybe because of how isolated the property is.so I guess they need to invest in better WiFi.

The food on an evening was gorgeous (highly recommend the duck breast with beetroot gnocchi from Redmonds!) The twilight spa package was absolutely incredible. The golf courses were beautiful and the view from our room was lovely. The estate is clearly kept in perfect condition. The staff went above and beyond to recognise my boyfriends birthday from chocolates in the room, to a birthday desert at the spa. The bed was huge. Wandering around the sculpture park was a lovely little welcome when we arrived.

The breakfast in Redmonds is a very standard breakfast, nothing wrong with it at all, very tasty, but nothing outstanding or separating it from other hotels. We ordered lunch on room service and the garlic bread was cold and the sandwich was £9 for a very basic sandwich which could have come from the shop. Having options for netflix/bbc iplayer etc on the tv would have been a nice extra? I am being really fussy here and nitpicking problems - Carden Park is truly gorgeous and I can't really fault it. We had a perfect stay and the staff were so welcoming. Would 100% be looking to come back soon!

Breakfast was delicious, and the beds were extremely comfortable. I was kindly allocated to the same room I had booked personally before my corporate booking the next day, which meant I didn't have to change room!
