Woodhouse Farm Lodge

Room was very large light and airy plenty of storage if you were staying for a week or two, bathroom was lovely plenty of hot water the shower was really nice, plus you are able to adjusted the temperature in the room to your own liking.

We were warned before hand that if we did not order the breakfast we wanted the night before there would be a waite of approx. 30 mins as all the food is cooked fresh, not a problem as it gives you time to find where things are in the dining room settle in and have the fist cup of coffee or tea, but there was rumblings from other guests that they had been sat there for 45 to 50 mins. I did not look what time we went in but it did seem a long waite. When the breakfast came it was very nice apart from the eggs they were well overdone & the mushrooms were cold.

A very relaxing stay. It may not suit everyone but the food took a time to come, the reason for this being the excellent food was fresh and cooked from scratch. We had an evening meal and breakfast which could not be faulted. I believe they make special arrangements for business stayers. All the staff we came in to contact with were absolutely fabulous and nothing was too much trouble.

Warning, rooms above swimming pool can become quite hot, so if staying for a time suggest you open the windows wide. Some of the sloping ceilings could be awkward for taller travellers. May need to check meal times if you are going to be late, but plenty of eateries nearby from Fast food to traditional pubs.

The hotel, grounds and pool are so pretty and well looked after. The staff couldn’t do enough for you, bringing anything you need to your room & answering any questions you have. Rooms were cozy and had more than enough amenities.

I asked for a quiet room but heard the reception or bar / restaurant phone (I assume it was that) every time it rang. As it’s an old building the floors creaked and you could hear people next door and in the corridor. Also, the beds don’t have head-boards, the pillows are against the wall. Also, the Hot Tub was out of order.

Absolutely beautiful property, the staff were all lovely and helpful. it was my sons birthday and they had decorated the room with balloons, banners and chocolates, it made his day. the breakfast was lovely and cooked fresh. The room had a wide variety of tea, coffee and chocolate drinks, along with 3 bottles of water.

We stayed in the Merino suite which was beautiful. I think there is a bit of a problem with the plumbing/drains as there was a slight smell at night and the toilet took its time to flush away. Also, one small thing is it would be good to have some kind of storage in the bathroom to put toiletries and bits on. But this didn’t really effect our stay.

Certainly has the wow factor, the hotel, the entrance, reception, staff and the rooms far exceeded my expectation. The hotel was in the perfect location as it was close to my work at the business park. The hotel has free parking onsite. The owner and the staff are so welcoming and helpful. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool and spa, Although i was not able to try it due to work commitments, will definitely try in next time i am there. The beds are so comfortable and the facilities in the rooms are good. In the front and the rear of the hotel is area where one can chill and enjoy the fresh air. By reception there is a bar, where i was able to sit and enjoy the entertainment and a coffee. If you are looking to visit Spalding, i would not hesitate in recommending this hotel. You will love your stay.

Scruffy unfinished driveway/outdoor area. Bar/seating area uninviting. Generally lacking atmosphere in communal areas, very plain and clinical feel to place. Spa facilities looked minimal. For size of bathroom could easily fit in bath. Feeble spray from shower. Badly designed washbasin - you can't rest soap or toothpaste without them slipping into basin

The location on the east side of town was perfect for us, because we didn't need to go into Spalding for anything, but it might not suit everyone - it's on the main road, off a busy roundabout, with no nearby restaurants or pubs

Can't fault it. But note that you do need to book a slot for the pool to be sure of swimming exactly when you want to. It was no problem for us - we just turned up and it happened to be free.

After a long drive from Scotland to do some business in Moulton On Seas, what I needed was a good, decent hotel to relax & chill out, which I found a gem in Woodhouse Farm Lodge ! The staff were very professional, welcoming & very helpful. My room was very clean & spacious & above all, the bed was very comfortable, with Coffee/Tea & Hot Chocolate making facility, if you needed to make your self a hot drink. Complementary bottle water & biscuits was also available in the room. The food was ok, especially the cooked breakfast. The location was spot on, with some beautiful views across the countryside ! I will be definitely, booking up again !

There was nothing I didn't like about my stay.at Woodhouse Farm Lodge. It really is a nice hotel

Nice room, great pool. The smell from the kitchen was very tempting, although during our stay we didn't eat at the property. We will look to change this upon our next visit.

Receptionist on arrival was not very helpful. Too early to check in, we were told we couldn't drink in the bar as we hadn't checked in!! After leaving and returning a different young lady could not have been more apologetic and helpful.

very grand entrance, excellent location just out of Spalding town centre and near Springfields shopping outlet which was 5 minutes walk away. large bedroom with beautiful countryside views from the window. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The bar area was very quiet and not always open and not a great choice for dinner so we ate out both nights. Excellent Japanese and Spanish restaurant in the town centre.
