I didn't book an accessible room nor did I ask for one when booking in. I think my disheveled look and pain from walking from the station was obvious. The gentleman kindly told me that he had changed mine and my son's room from upstairs to the downstairs. The room was clean and welcoming with tea/coffee and hot chocolate with biscuits. The gentleman kindly booked a local taxi for us to and from an event the following day that didn't rip us off for being tourist's. I was able to shower the following morning due to the accessible shower room. Due to meeting a friend and getting my glasses fixed, we did not stay for breakfast so I can't comment on the food. I will stay again if ever we find ourselves in Sleaford ☺️

I stayed in room 5 which is in the annexe to the rear of the pub, accessed by metal steps. Big room in a barn / stable style of decor. Clean, warm and cozy with coffee, tea, drinking chocolate and biscuits provided. Good breakfast with various options and nice food served in the pub. Free car parking.

Having to fill out my personal details in a busy bar with local customers looking over my shoulder. The guy running the kitchen (on my first night) seemed 'put out' when I wanted an evening meal at 7pm - said "he was just about to go home". Food is available from 2pm > 8pm, felt like I was being a nuisance, so not the best of customer service. Grubby carpets. £62 per night plus £6.95 for breakfast a little expensive.

The staff were excellent & very efficient. The bar & evening meal were good. The live singer was surprisingly good & well worth staying on after the evening meal. I didn't have breakfast, but the usual offerings were available.

Car parking. There is a small carpark at the back of the building, but it was full when I arrived. I had to park on a public carpark 5 minutes walk away. Fortunately, users don't have to pay after 6:30pm. It was also raining, so it was difficult to get my bags into the place. If travellers arrive other than in their own private car, this place is excellent.

We booked three rooms for family with varying medical/physical needs and I was thrilled all were taken into consideration and the rooms provided were excellent. Each room was spacious, clean, comfortable and welcoming. Bathrooms were also a great size. Meals had an outstanding choice options , very generous portions and fantastic value for money. All the staff we met were friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. Great central position and we were able to get taxis to and from the wedding we were attending easily. We would all strongly recommend staying at The Marquis of Granby and send our thanks for a wonderful time.

Everything was perfect o no improvements necessary. Management and staff could not have been kinder .or more helpful. a big thank you to them all.

A warm welcome - the car park was full and our host quickly said he'd sort something out so we could park. The room was clean and well equipped and proper toiletries, not those awful things on the wall! We were in the centre of town so that was great, you expect a bit of traffic noise, which there was, but with a fan in the room (it had been a sweltering 27 deg during the day) we were able to close the windows if we wanted to. Breakfast was terrific value and HUGE and the chef was lovely. All of the staff were helpful and cheerful, what more do you want?

A really silly niggle - all of the rooms are twin, when I stay away with my husband it's nice to have a double!

Staff were very friendly & helpful, room was very clean, light and airy, bath & shower. bar was great with a good selection of beers. plenty of seating but still plenty of bar space, nice to see a busy pub for a change. Breakfast was excellent, loads of choice and cooked to order, again very friendly staff.

The only thing that would have made things better was if there had been a desk in the room, there was a dressing table but it was too high to use a laptop.

I loved the whole experience from walking in the door. My expectations for the price (and only based on price) of the room weren't high but boy was i wrong. The staff where extremely friendly and the rooms great and functional. I had three rooms booked for my family and we all agree that when we head back to Sleaford to attend a function at a local RAF base we're staying here. The food was lovely and reasonably priced, the area great.

The only snag, which wasn't a problem at all really was the car parking. It's a busy car park but all of the patrons and especially the staff played car chess to move things around so that i could park my car, without any hassle or grump at all. Thanks guys for a cracking stay....

Lovely welcome, checked in and everything explained quickly and shown to our room. Joined the locals in the bar and felt right at home. Food was excellent. Breakfast was self serve to start with, then order taken and dealt with speedily. Wow what a lovely big breakfast. Served at a time to suit the individual client. The room and beds were comfortable. Anything required i.e. ironing board, iron, hairdryer just ask. Well worth the journey and will visit again.

Nice and clean. I liked the thick carpet and there was a box to put shoes so that we could keep the carpet clean. There was a tall mirror and a chest of drawer in the room which were useful. Hotel staffs were friendly and helpful, too. I also like the lively atmosphere in the beer garden and nice breakfast room.

It took a while until the hot water comes. It would be even better if there is a hairdryer.
