I had a lovely room. The location on the Pantiles was very good. The staff were particularly kind and helpful.

I had an awful evening meal. The choice of meals wasn't good . I chose hot smoked salmon salad. The broccoli didn't seem to have been cooked. I could find very little salad dressing. It cost me £18. A rip off! Little effort by the chef for a lot of money. When I complained the staff were very good and offered me some money back. I didn't take the offer but the lady offered me a free drink and cake which I took.

Nicely fitted out, clean room in a historic building. Decor in keeping with its age. Loved the old school tap fittings etc. Available in the room were tea and coffee, electric kettle, hairdryer and a small table with 2 chairs, plus wardrobe space with hangers. Staff were helpful and took our bags up the narrow stairs. Location not very far from the TW railway station and is right on the Pantiles where all the tourist action is. Lots of restaurants with outdoor seating available, and the TW hotel itself has a section right next to the stage (there is singing at the markets, I believe). Our room overlooked the Pantiles which made it lovely to sit down with a cup of tea and watch the Sat/Sun markets from above.

Twin beds were very close to each other. A small rack or shelf to put our bath toiletries on would have been appreciated. We had a 3rd floor room - no lift, so not suitable for those with walking difficulties (we were ok). The biggest downside of being right over the Pantiles is that is where the loud drunk people pass by on a Friday night. It was loud till pretty late. Bring your earplugs! It wasn't so bad on the Saturday night. All in all - fairly expensive for a noisy night on the 3rd floor - so can't say it was excellent value for money, but reasonable all the same.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel full of character. The location is wonderful in the Pantiles & lots to see & do in the area or just to chill & take in the atmosphere. There are many artisan shops, particularly if you are an art lover, there are numerous art galleries. Quite a number of café/restaurants in the area so spoiled for choice. Music/entertainment available on certain nights, ask prior to your stay.

Although we didn't mind this, there is no elevator, so getting to your room is all staircase..just to be mindful if you have difficulty with your legs/walking.

The staff made our stay very nice indeed. I have a lot of health issues and they helped with everything especially with my food allergies The hotel is situated just off the roadside but the staff helped with luggage from the car to our room which was up stairs. We ate in the restaurant which was very good too again making sure my food allergies were catered for The TV in the room had Netflix and Amazon Prime so we were able to watch one of our favourite movies. The bed was comfortable and we had a good nights sleep The hotel offered very nice stay for us both whilst travelling to a family wedding.

lovely building and beautiful surroundings. we went back to reception to ask for iron & the chap was so friendly and bought it up to us. little things like that make all the difference as my partner offered to wait and take it, but the fella insisted to bring it up.

We didn’t realise until we arrived there was a jazz festival. it didn’t really affect our sleep but it was a bit of a faff having to queue to get in & out and proove we were staying at the hotel! shame about the additional cost and limited parking but we were lucky and got the last space, and it wasnt too far to get to the hotel.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay during a family wedding weekend. The food was varied and well presented . The breakfast choices were excellent. We enjoyed the drinks evening that had been arranged by our son the day before the wedding and the room in the bar area was an excellent choice.

The two rooms we had were very different . Ours was on the back facing the very busy road and was quite noisy at times. There wasn’t much space to hang wedding clothes or move around in the room. Our daughters room was on the pantiles side and was bigger , brighter and much nicer to be in.

We booked a small double room at short notice as we were attending a party in the area and wanted to stay over. The price of the room was reasonable. The hotel is in a great location and has character. We really just needed a place to crash. The staff were friendly and welcoming and gave us a contact person for a local taxi company that we could use during our stay. The bed was comfortable, the shower was great with some pleasant products. We had breakfast at the restaurant in the morning and were impressed by the food. We both ordered pancakes with bacon and maple syrup and my husband had scrambled eggs on the side. He is quite fussy and said how good it was.

Excellent location. Fabulous staff. Food a little expensive but delicious and fresh. Jazz band playing the night we stayed and they were a little too quiet, I struggled to hear them. It was very warm and thankfully there was air conditioning in the room. We had a very lovely stay and would definitely recommend.

Not a great view from my room but I didn't spend too much time in it.

Character filled hotel right on the Pantiles within walking distance to all that Tunbridge Wells shopping and dining has to offer. Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was great quality and value!

Guests should be aware that parking is a short walk away for luggage etc. That said, this is the trade off with being right on the Pantiles and the hotel manager was very helpful in navigating the parking and luggage coordination..

If you want to stay in Tunbridge Wells, this hotel is very well-located on the Pantiles, and an easy walk from the station and near some bars. The breakfast was very good and the staff were conscientious about allergens. There was a concierge into the early hours of the morning. Décor was great too. Late check out time of 11 is handy. Would definitely stay here again if I needed to come back to the area. Image is of the beautiful ceiling in the breakfast area

Quite expensive stay considering there's not all that much to do in Tunbridge Wells for a tourist (but prices are in line with other hotels in TB, so not a criticism of this hotel so much as a general point about the area). No option to open window in hotel room and no option to block out skylight which let in light from 7am - ok if you want to get up early anyway but not if you wanted a lie in! Also nowhere to hang long suits or dresses in our room as hangers were fixed into a short cupboard.
