Unique place to stay. Superb location. Little extras to n the room like cake and quality toiletries. Very comfortable beds. Warm welcome and excellent service. Breakfast best I’ve had in ages.

Not a deal breaker for me (after all it’s an old and historic property) but worth mentioning. Water pressure seems low. So if you like high pressure rainforest type showers you will be disappointed. If your room is in 38B you don’t usually get to eat breakfast in the very quaint breakfast room (continental instead). Fortunately, as they were not too busy, we were offered full breakfast instead of continental. Breakfast is part of 38 St Giles unique offer and not to be missed - I think this should be standard for all rooms. Otherwise there is little to fault.

Very good location - although in the city centre a lovely quiet area. Very clean. Perfect facilities and little extra touches such as cake and fresh milk was really welcoming. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was first class and was the best we’ve ever had anywhere Would definitely love to return

Nothing everything was great

The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. It had all the facilities you would need and the chocolate cake laid out upon arrival was a nice touch but not as nice as the cake itself which was to die for! The location was surprisingly quiet for the city centre. This could have been because the bed was so comfortable that I slept sound. The breakfast was well presented and absolutely delicious. The hosts were gracious and our stay was thoroughly enjoyable. A definite must to stay again.

The car park is literally a stone through away, but be warned; the spaces are extremely tight. If you have anything larger than a mini, you may struggle; sadly, the 38 St Giles can do nothing about that.

The room was lovely; very clean and comfortable. The colours & furniture were very nice. Lovely touch of cake awaiting us on arrival.

Two complaints only; the bathroom door got stuck on the floor & I bashed myself (only the once) as then realised the problem. Not all of the breakfast menu was available; this was disappointing.

The location of the B&B was very close to the centre, so everything (including many beautiful cafés) is in walking distance. For breakfast, there was an divers range of options, from starters, to main, vegtarian and full english, and especially the home made granola was excellent. Overall, the staff was very kind and the accommodating, and the B&B made us feel very welcomed.

Unfortunatly we couldn´t open the windows in our room, which was probably a safety precaution, as our room was right next to the street.

Excellent breakfast and super comfy bed

There was confusion about the breakfast. They sent me a message saying it was a continental breakfast but my booking was based of the booking.com site showing a fine full breakfast choice. They resolved the issue and booked me in for the full and wonderful cooked brekkie.

the plumbing needs fixing - shower was very low pressure, hose didn’t work, and splashed all over the floor, toilet flush was very bad and sink didn’t drain very well. I know it’s a very old building but I think a little maintenance in that area is needed.

Unique boutique B&B in central Norwich. Lots of character. Lovely room with windows either side (Colman) and a good sized bathroom with bath and decent shower. Comfy bed. Kettle in room. Once you have paid, they send you the door code. Breakfast room is downstairs, plus rooms on 2 upper floors. We also used their car parking (extra charge). Great location for shops, restaurants etc.

Cold sausage at breakfast!

An excellent location, very comfortable and clean. Nice touches included milk, tea and cake in the room on arrival. The continental breakfast was lovely.

We received a text telling us how to get in but I would have liked a personal greeting when we arrived as we weren't sure about what facilities we could use (i.e. the kitchen and lounge).

Great staff and excellent communication, the style and location are perfect and there is a big multi storey just across the road

Super fresh cooked breakfast but the breakfast room is very small set against the number of rooms so the staff work hard to set timings for everyone but it worked!
