The check-in and chrck-out was very quick and the staff and the cleaning staff was very helpful. The apartment was very clean and they have provided us with everything we needed for pur stay. The apartment was in a very good location and the parking was good.

The issue we had was the Internet. We had an issue with the Internet, where most of the dats day we couldn't connect to the Internet, and even when we do connect, it is quite intermittent. The other issue was that everytime we did try and connect to the Internet, we had to enter the password, which was quite a headache, especially with how many times the Internet dropped and we had to reconnect.

One of the highlights of our stay was the spaciousness of the accommodation. The apartment provided ample room for our family, allowing us to relax and move around comfortably. The large lounge area was a great space for us to gather in the evenings and spend quality time together. The kitchenette in the apartment was a big plus, as it was well-equipped and spacious enough for us to prepare some meals. This convenience allowed us to enjoy home-cooked dishes and added a touch of familiarity during our stay. The beds were comfortable, ensuring that everyone had a good night's sleep. It was important for us to have a restful sleep after long days of exploring the city, and the comfortable beds were certainly delivered. Another aspect worth mentioning is the availability of good parking options. It's always a relief to find suitable parking, especially when travelling with a family. 91 Aparthotel Jesmond Road provided convenient parking facilities that eased any concerns we had about finding a place to park our vehicle.

Stayed in a one bedroom apartment. Easy to pick up key from Holiday Inn reception next door. Had trouble pulling out sofa bed but staff sorted it with no fuss and set up bed. Manager and all staff extremely helpful and courteous. Pleasantly surprised by decor and comfort of bed. Free parking in front of and to rear of apartment a real bonus. Central Newcastle a pleasant short walk away. Our apartment was at front of building and was surprisingly quiet despite main road outside. Jesmond, turning right up Osborne Road, well worth a visit for cafes and restaurants. Jesmond Dene also worth a visit for a very pleasant walk along the river and to pop into Pets Corner.

Kitchen area is small but suited our needs. Saucepans were small so we borrowed a larger one from my daughter to cook pasta. Mini fridge fitted all of our food but might not be suitable if you were planning to self cater for longer.

To start with, we needed to make some changes to the dates of our booking. While Booking.com was unable to help us, Oscar (evening front of house manager) was awesome in being able to assist us in the weeks leading up to the stay and then again when we got there. Accommodation was comfortable and clean and provided us with everything we needed. Close to public transport and within walking distance to the centre of town.

Our apartment was on the 4th floor and no lifts to get us there. A bit exhausting getting luggage to our room, but again, I’m sure we could have got some assistance if we’d have asked

The apartment is very well designed and feels luxurious compared to a hotel room. It makes ingenious use of the space within a period building. The design of the rooms is stylish and attractive. The bed was very comfy and the chairs and sofas too. We love staying here despite the gripes in the next answer.

1. The kitchenette is shabby and the cold tap runs warm for ages. 2. The directional shower head pointed the wrong way so you had to hold it all the time you were using it. 3. The ventilation system is really noisy even when you switch it off at the control pad. 4. The living room door bangs. 5. The parking is awkward and it’s hard to turn right onto the street.

Car parking is now £10 per night in the Holiday Inn car park next door, although stated as complimentary this is only for the 2 spaces at the front, or rear of the property only. The apartment in areas has not been well mantained or cleaned, living room carpet worn, the cupboard door on the fridge unit was hanging off, and had chip marks all over it. The fridge is only a wine and drinks cooler, not a food fridge. This had mould inside, food debris and leafs were inside the cupboard unit. No smart tvs. Although stated as having an oven it does not, only a microwave. The water pressure is really bad (morning), and the mixer tap on the bathroom sink was either scalding or freezing cold.

Nice part of Newcastle Jesmond is fine with parks Mero and good pubs and restaurants, breakfast is in the hotel next door cheaper if you book it the night before or in your room rate. ideal base for a fun time out in Newcastle and a small bedsit apartment to come home to. bed made up and towels changed every day if necessary. Staff are excellent and very helpful fratellis restaurant in the hotel is pretty good as well. room was a good size and comfortable quirky and clean I had expected a proper kitchen but its is a sink dishwasher kettle toaster and microwave in a cupboard with a wine fridge for e refrigerator. reasonably well equipped but awkward to work and i couldn't avoid banging my head. on the doors,. If you like to cook properly and dont want to live on microwave meals then its probably not for you.

A better description of the kitchen facilities would have helped to prepare what to take with me but overall it was pretty good.

EXCELLENT VALUE. 1 BEDROOM APARTMENT. FANTASTIC KITCHENETTE WITH MICROWAVE, HOB, FRIDGE AND DISHWASHER AND DISHWASHER TABLETS, WASHING UP LIQUID, PANS, PLATES, CUTLERY ETC. BIG FLAT SCREEN TV IN BEDROOM AND LIVING AREA. NICE QUIET ROOM.

IT WAS UNBELIEVABLY HARD TO FIND THE ALMOST INVISIBLE PASSWORD BOX TO THE LEFT OF THE 'CONNECT / LOG ON' BUTTON IN ORDER TO ENTER THE PASSWORD TO CONNECT TO THE WIFI. THE BOX WAS INVISIBLE ON MY APPLE PHONE AND LAPTOP. I WAS ABOUT TO GO TO RECEPTION TO ASK THEM TO HELP ME LOG ON WHEN I FINALLY FOUND IT BY ACCIDENT WHEN MY CURSOR HOVERED OVER IT AND THE BORDER OF THE PASSWORD BOX APPEARED MORE VISIBLE. ODDLY THE PASSWORD BOX WAS MUCH MORE VISIBLE NO MATTER WHERE YOUR CURSOR WAS ON MY DAUGHTER'S ANDROID PHONE.

Great apartment, with double bed, sofa/sofa bed and kitchenette facilities (2-ring hob with saucepan and frying pan, sink, microwave, crockery, toaster). Easy to adjust the room temperature. Handy location, near to Jesmond Metro. Breakfast at Holiday Inn was included, which we hadn't realized, so that was a nice surprise! The staff at Holiday Inn were incredibly friendly and helpful at all times!

There was only one fork (fortunately we had brought plastic sporks). The pillows weren't very comfortable, but that is a matter of personal preference.

We had room 918 on the top floor. Lovely room with a vaulted ceiling. There was a king size bed, corner sofa bed and compact kitchen unit with everything you would need for a short stay. Lovely bathroom. Breakfast was included in the Holiday Inn next door. Food was gorgeous and loads of choice even though we went in late. I enjoyed American pancakes with greek yoghurt and fresh fruit salad. Free Parking to front and rear. Would definitely stay again

Lots of stairs to the room which didn't bother me but may make unsuitable for less able people.
