This was an amazing room and stay we’ve ever had when we’ve visited Edwinstowe. We found the hotel by chance as the usual hotel we stay at was unavailable. We definitely preferred it. The room is so comfortable. There’s additional tea bags, sugar, milk, etc on a unit at the top of the stairs. Never known that before! We’ve only ever had 2 tea bags!!! There’s also a ‘help yourself’ fruit bowl outside the room, which was such a nice touch. What a great hotel. Didn’t try the food but next time will definitely have a meal here. Very friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Quiet room. Extremely comfortable bed. Modern room. Shower was lovely. Just a really brilliant stay. Will stay here again definitely. No breakfast available but loads of places nearby. It didn’t detract from a really great hotel. Thank you.

Nothing. It was all amazing!

Completely forgot about breakfast and that it wasn’t included. I did spot a fruit bowl outside our room on a communal shelf later which was a nice touch. The restaurant was lovely. We ate lunch and had our evening meal there. We was staying for a wedding and needed to check in sooner so we could get ready and go from there. The staff were brilliant and let us check in earlier. We really appreciated that and would definitely recommend. The room was nice, clean and comfortable.

Didn’t have breakfast as not provided at hotel so not applicable. The location for the event we were attending was excellent . Just a short walk.It might be an idea to do a breakfast in a bag as some hotels we have stayed in do. Croissant, juice carton maybe. It could be offered as an option. The hotel was clean, parking excellent, room clean and everything you needed was on hand. For the price thought it was excellent value.

Nothing to dislike really.

Clean and comfortable, good location for what I needed and would much rather pay independents than say Travelodge or Holiday Inn etc. The food I had was exceptional.

Need to get rid of the electric shower and change the bath taps to one with a shower attachment. I've never had a decent electric shower anywhere, its either stone cold or scalding hot no matter how you adjusted it, ended up taking a bath.

The lodge was part of a restaurant/bar which served the most amazing cocktails and food. If you’re a guest you get 25% off your food bill. The staff were so attentive and friendly and made you feel so welcome! Honestly the best service we have had in a while!

The only downfall for us was the shower as the water didn’t get that hot and the flow wasn’t very good but I am not going to let this factor ruin my review :)

Check in not until 3 but I had a wedding to get to nearby, so super helpful and sorted my keys for me much earlier. Super comfortable bed and pillows, air-con and free water. Perfect. Would have been fab to have had a breakfast but I knew they didn't offer B&B when I booked it so that's just how it is but my stay was great. Would definitely recommend.

location was good to where we were going. place was clean and tidy.

when we initially booked it said there was pastries and some light breakfast items available and free but there was only some old fruit. also due to the very low temperatures currently it would have been nice to have had heating on in the room when we arrived as there was a chill in the room and it took a while to warm up.

The £89 price was a bit high but again the room quality I can’t grumble too much I usually don’t pay more then £75 for rooms but made the exception this time again it’s not a massive thing the £89 fee as I said the experience overall can’t complain

really great room especially for the price! the continental breakfast added in was a great touch! so was the 25% food and breakfast vouchers :)

the bathroom floor was very wet it seemed to be a leak from the shower and the tap came loose a few times, also the towel rail is very close to the toilet which could be dangerous if on. but other than that perfect and wouldn’t stop us coming again!

Hotel was situated next to a golf course with great views from the window, the rooms were recently decorated to a high standard which had everything I needed, the proprietors Robin and Lisa catered for our every need and then went beyond expectations, the staff were extremely friendly and attentive they made my stay an absolute pleasure, the breakfast was cleanly cooked, with large portions and above all choice...this is a little gem in Mansfield....perfect, thank you....Tony

It could of been better if I could have stayed longer, I truly didn’t want to leave as I felt like royalty....Robin, Lisa, Hannah, Leah, Rosie, Lewis and the rest...amazing
