Best quality hotel for price and situated just right at centre of Liverpool would recommend this hotel to everyone for value ,cleanliness, staff,stay and all if you travel alone or just looking for small space to stay enjoy please stay here ,you won't find better anywhere else around Liverpool belive me I no and have tried and the podworks is above a grade of any other place staff always nice friendly and polite can't beat this hotel for anything price or anything else ,most places you pay for what you get this place you pay less and get above the rest trust and belive this review

Nothing everything is perfect there there is nothing that is wrong or could go wrong while staying here

While my room was small you got exactly what you needed: a bed, ensuite bathroom, TV and a kettle. Aircon in the room aswell which was a big help. I didn't catch her name but the woman who checked me on the Saturday was an extremely pleasant woman and very happy, and a credit to the hotel

Even though you booked a room for 2 people, you're not allowed to bring any guests back with ya. Not good if you're a solo traveler and find someone along the way. You could hear everything! At 4am when other guests coming home, you could feel as if they are in the room with you.

Excellent staff, had a great crack and a good laugh l with one of the guys who works the night shift Daniel thumbs up fella. Listened to my life story as going through a lot right now and never once did it effect his job this guy will do well in the hospitality sector with his compassionate approach with customers and ability to deal with situations that arise as I witnessed 1st hand 👍. Keep up the fantastic work man and think I'll be seeing you soon as looking too book here again for sure

No table or draws by the bed too put your phone or a drink, the shower gel was more like shower water but hey it does the job I suppose

Best part of this place was the friendly staff. Always smiley and chatty and a nice warm welcome. They were also happy to make sure I was in the same room for both nights as I had booked the 2 nights separately which was handy it meant I didn't need to get up and do a while transfer. It was a really handy location, seemed to be a safe and quiet area, decent value for money. Shower was decent and bed reasonably comfortable. and good size.

Wifi didn't work down in the basement rooms which was a bit annoying but not a massive problem. Felt for the staff who were waiting on a repair but didn't know when it would happen. The room is small so I wouldn't stay there if I wanted to spend a lot of time in the room but it was great as a place to rest my head. I was out and about a lot but if I'd wanted to stay in it was a bit cramped. Also wouldn't stay there for too many nights with people that get annoying! You can't escape them!

Central location very close to coach station and docks. Friendly staff. Place felt safe and cosy. Great value for money. Despite the negative things I list I would stay there again.

Noise from the corridor. Internet drop outs (but would reconnect within seconds). Marks on pillow cases (but I think they were clean still, just marked/stained). Dripping shower head. Took four or five minutes running the shower to get hot water out. No chair in the room.

The room was small and functional. It was just for an overnight stay, so really all was needed was a comfy bed and a working shower which is what we had. the reception staff were lovely and premises were clean and nicely presented.

just a slight gripe really the bed was quite high off the floor and the frame dug into your legs when you sat on the bed. The extractor in the shower room stayed on after use, only found out when leaving how to switch it off (our fault for not asking before).

The bed was really comfortable, there was loads of storage place, it was one of the cleanest hotel I’ve been too and the the lady on the front desk was amazing. She deserve a pay rise for how kind and helpful she was. She went above and beyond and was so friendly. You are very lucky to have someone like that working for you. Please tell her we said thank you

Just that the tv wasn’t connect to the internet and there was no way to connect it to watch Netflix.

Easy to get to from city centre First time staying my room was clean, modern finishes and staff were super sweet Very much worth the money

It was a right mission to get to my room from reception Like other reviews said there was noise, but I expected and it didn’t bother me Like other reviews said it’s a small space, but it suited me just fine and I liked it tbh Like other reviews said heating wasn’t working, but after a couple of minutes of pressing buttons it worked and I was toasty and comfy all night

All staff were very friendly and gave me a warm welcome, clear instructions and additional local information. Room looked like the pictures on booking.com and sheets were clean on arrival, I was allowed to check in a little early I was also offered ice and was told I could ask any time I needed, which I was so grateful for.There was a very decent and clean bathroom space with a very large shower.Air conditioning worked perfectly and it was nice to cool off during the hottest day on UK recorded history. TV was connected to the internet so I could stream my favorite shows on Netflix, Youtube and Disney+. Worth more than I paid, greay value for money.

Bins and bedding were not changed during my 2 nights stay Although .But I feel like they would have if I asked as they were really hospitible. There was free Wifi but didnt work for my phone and my phone data was unavailable because I had a lower ground level room.

The room was enough for what you need. . Small cafe/ Bar area was decently stocked and not overpriced. Staff were lovely. Location is less than 10 mins walk from Dockyard area and under 15 from the train station . Would recommend it.

Room was under ground level, not an issue. AC was needed, which was rather noisy. The hotel is great my only issue was noise. Can't control other people ,but guy next door who was snoring sounded like he was in my room.
