Leonardo Inn Aberdeen Airport

The staff at this hotel are amazing. Special mention to Jonah (?) one of the reception team who was so lovely and helpful. To be honest 'though, all the staff here are just lovely - they are polite, helpful and very good at their jobs. The hotel is very clean and in a grreat loction being just monites from the bypass so easy access to Deeside etc and yet only 10 mins drive into the city centre. Our room was a good size with everything you would need, plus the bonus of watching the baby rabbits play on the grass outside. Also the on site bar and restaurant are also really good.

Flexible timing (5am - 10am) for a breakfast with great options very appealing, staff pleasant & helpful. No discernible airplane noise despite proximity to airport. Fine if all you need is a bed for the night and a decent breakfast before a day out and about.

Parking arrangements - hotel car park full both nights, so we had to use short stay at airport, only a five minute walk away but additional charge either way should be made clear at time of booking. Helicopter noise a constant from 6am on one morning of our stay was not ideal; much later the other morning

This is my regular choice when staying near Aberdeen airport. The price and convenience cannot be beaten. Particularly like the USB hub in the room and the shuttle service to the heliport.

The restaurant menu is identical to it's sister hotel 500mteres away but the food doesn't have the same appeal, maybe a bit of cross-learning would benefit this team. The breakfasts also are a little lack luster with hot food not being refreshed until almost empty which sometimes means the last few fried eggs are unappetizing. The eating area is also a bit stark, though I'm not sure what could improve this. Maybe it's simply too bright.

Beds really comfortable. Good shower. Handy having shower gel provided. Free shuttle bus was great. Leaves every 15 mins starting at 4.30 am. Offered wake up call too, which was great especially as needed to get up so early 4am.

Booked a twin room for my daughter and I but was given a double room first. Went back to reception and was told ‘ you booked a double room’ even though my booking confirmation clearly states twin! Anyway, they found me a twin so not too much hassle. My daughter arrived at 10 and when we tried to order the 24 hour room service, was told it finished at 9.30!

The customer service from the reception team at this Inn was nothing short of outstanding and deserves the greatest recognition; nothing was too much trouble for the team and all was conducted with a friendly banter whilst being professional and efficient. The rooms were well appointed if a little dated in some aspects, however, you will locate all you require for a comfortable stay and extremely clean and well maintained. The en suite shower room was practical and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a triumph, well-presented buffet with egg options from the kitchen, would have been nice to have had some Scottish options like haggis and black pudding. Overall an excellent stay and I highly recommend this value-for-money hotel to all.

I love Leonardo inn Aberdeen airport!! The staff are very friendly, helpful & accommodating. Especially the head of housekeeping Susan. What a lovely & professional Lady she is!! She went above & beyond for me. Her duty of care towards her guests is commendable!!! Nothing is ever too much for her to handle. Not forgetting Ricky the maintenance man. Who went out of his way to help me & made sure my needs where taken care of as a guest of the hotel. I can't fault this hotel! Top Marks from me!!!!

The proximity to the airport, as always, is the main reason I choose this hotel. It's a little on the basic side but the price makes this an excellent choice. The rooms are better than some pricier competitors.

The food was a little disappointing. The menu is absolutely the same as the Leonardos across the road but the food in this hotel was not so well presented and also was a quite tasteless. The cooked breakfast dries out because it's not covered and consequently looks a bit tired. The bread option for toast was limited and I had to ask them to top up the one and only milk jug so that I could have so cereal. Yoghurt and fresh fruit selection is also getting to be limited.

The hotel was in the perfect location for the P&J Live. It was clean, comfortable and the rooms were very spacious. Hotel staff were local to the area, very friendly, available and couldn't have been more helpful.

The mattress topper retains far too much heat, making for a very uncomfortable night - I removed mine from the bed. There are far more comfortable alternatives out there. Breakfast was OK, however there wasn't much on offer for a dairy free/vegan diet. The menu lists far more than was actually on offer as far as pastries/breads go.

Very friendly and extremely helpful receptionist called Johnna, who went above expectations to help us when we had to stay an extra night due to a flight delay. we had been waiting in the airport for 14 hours. Once we arrived back to the hotel Johnna was very efficient sorting all the customers that arrived from the airport and helped us in the morning when there was confusion regarding the buses picking us up. Nothing was a problem to him and he always had a smile on his face. An asset to any team. Well done.

We were attending a concert at TECA and didn't want the hassle of getting back into town - either waiting for the bus, or trying to get a taxi - there are never any available!! I got a great room rate at short notice (I booked on the day). Fab location for TECA - you can walk it if you want, but the airport bus goes past the venue and from there to the hotel is 5 mins or so. Really friendly receptionist. Good size room - we were only there to sleep, but there's a restaurant attached to it.
