The Kilmarnock Inn is an amazing, family run hotel in a quaint little village. The proprietors operate the Inn and I cannot say enough about how amazing the experience was for us. The rooms are spotless, the Inn itself is SO comfortable, the area is beautiful, the food in the restaurant is outstanding. Lots of places do a good job on most things, but the Kilmarnock Inn does it all better than well. This lovely Inn is a place that I would consider making a destination location. We took public transport, but a car would be helpful as the surrounding area has lots to offer. That said, there was plenty to keep us busy.

Everyone was friendly and kind. We had a family room but I was expecting a twin room for me and my grandson. The staff chatted with us and even pointed out places to visit. On our final day the waitress said the chef could make pancakes for our breakfast if we wanted, which were absolutely amazing. Everyone was smiling and happy

A very clean, comfortable and well-maintained hotel in a very convenient location to explore Cruden Bay and the surrounding area. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food plentiful! Excellent value for money, we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and would definitely recommend.

the entire experience was of a most excellent nature. We came both to enjoy a break, and to research the Bram Stoker connection. We were not disappointed with either aspect. Of particular note were the staff. From the friendly welcome on arrival, to the commitment to making our stay a memorable one. Thank you, we will certainly return.

it’s location - 5 minutes from the Cruden Bay golf club (the reason for our trip) - and the friendliness of the staff.
the hotel seemed a little run down from my previous stays. For example, the room I had has a brand new bathroom but there was no electrical outlet, no toilet paper holder and the widow wouldn’t open.

Perfect location for golf at Cruden. Staff all good, food was good. Comfy beds. Good place to stay if golfing at Cruden.

Comfy spacious rooms. Breakfast & Dinner was very enjoyable served by friendly staff.
It’s a little tired on the edges but that would not stop me from staying again.
