The rooms were lovely and clean, bright and spacious. Was a good location for family visiting people at the hospital and also easy to get a taxi to pick us up from the hotel to travel to clydebank. The swimming being included was great and the staff were pleasant.

The location and the works happening at the moment made it harder to find coming back to the hotel late at night but the hotel itself was nice enough and I would like to try the restaurant the next time as the food sounded lovely. We had paid extra for a river view but was more a view into the hospital rooms and seeing patients look over at us with just a small view of the river on the right hand side. Due to people looking over we felt more comfortable closing the blinds and would just pay for a standard room next time if we stayed again.

Room was huge almost like a suite with 3 windows all with amazing views, very clean &. bed was comfortable. The dinner in the restaurant was excellent & we thoroughly enjoyed it.The staff were attentive but not intrusive in the restaurant . The hotel staff were friendly & super helpful & responded very quickly to a request .

We were latchy coming down to Breakfast so the choice left was a little limited. Again very attentive , friendly & helpful staff.Disappointingly, in comparison to the quality of the restaurant food we felt that the items served at breakfast were of a poor quality The bread tasted of nothing & the jam was a red coloured tasteless gloop.

Lovely room, friendly staff, very clean and comfortable.

Limited choice for vegetarians/vegans at breakfast - a veggie sausage would have been nice! The pool is lovely, and this was the reason we chose the hotel. However we were very disappointed to find half of the pool sectioned off for childrens private swimming lessons on the Sunday morning. Surely these lessons could take place after check out and prior to check in so that paying guests have full use of the pool.

Deserves an excellent rating in every way except the parking. The Hotel is fantastic from when you walk in to the rooms food and drink. Spacious areas to work or rest. Staff friendly and approachable. Amazing food at great prices. Drinks are similar to some pubs on price. Great size rooms, clean, quiet and comfortable.

We arrived early afternoon and the parking was difficult. Its parking is part of the hospital parking so as you can imagine spaces are at a premium. I’m sure if we had arrived after 5.30pm it would have been a lot easier, I went outside and moved the car at about 8pm and it was pretty empty by then.

My husband had an appointment at The Golden Jubilee Hospital and this Hotel is actually attached to it. But by no means did we feel part of the hospital. Very plush, comfortable, reasonably priced stay, lovely bar area & outside seating. Restaurant nice & relaxed, with a fabulous menu.

Not a dislike, but not too easy to get to if you don't drive. There is a bus service from Glasgow City centre but not from Buchanan St bus station. There is a train station nearby the hospital, Dalmuir but it's a 20 minute walk, so if you have mobility issues, neither of these options are great.

The room was spacious and very clean. the view over the garden was nice too. The bathroom was modern and very clean. The room was decorated in neutral colours which was very much to our taste. Ther was also plenty of space for clothes, which can be somewhat lacking in hotels these days, which makes living out of a suitcase necessay. The food was exceptional. We look forward to using the hotel again in the future.

The tv picture was very poor, and there was a hair in my breakfast, which I was shocked an unhappy about, also when I made mention of it, not even an apology was offered. My husband and I were very disappointed by the indifference shown.

Everything was clean and comfortable. Free parking. Location perfect for travel into Glasgow and trips to Loch Lomond. All accessible by affordable public transport..we didn't use our car once during our 5 day stay. Free use of the pool, gym and spa facilities was a great bonus.

The pool was out of action a couple of times and on the days we could use it, the sauna was out of action. This was disappointing but we were told they were having a problem with chemical levels so it's understandable that it had to close. The hotel didnt have any green tea which was quite surprising as you can get that everywhere thesedays. Luckily I take some wherever I go as it's the only tea I drink. I found that there was never enough muesli at breakfast. Again, this is all I eat for breakfast so it was disappointing. A couple of times I opted for the gluten free muesli instead but it really wasn't what I'd call muesli..I'd imagine that for people who have to eat gluten free, this is probably a common frustration.

Room was most comfortable and quiet with plenty of space. Breakfast offered a good choice, although not of the highest quality for Preserves and Breads. Staff on Reception and in service (except for the breakfast-lady) were delightful. VERY convenient to Dalmuir railway station where the Caledonian Night Sleeper calls, and is gateway to the West Highland railway line serving Oban, Fort William and Mallaig.

Incessant televisions throughout the public area and close to the dining area; when staying several nights the fixed restaurant menu became a little challenging to find interesting dishes; no Fino Sherry available at the bar. Breakfast desk-lady was abrasive and quite rude if you arrived just prior to the breakfast restaurant opening.

We arrived late and were able to check in immediately. The desk receptionist was very nice and personable. The process of checking in was simple and straightforward. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very nice and comfortable. The bathroom was large and the walk-in shower was luxury! The dining/bar area was very nice and also very clean. The staff again was perfect. Shout out to Ryan for being so nice and taking the time to talk with us. Also, the grounds are absolutely beautiful. The hotel is close to the train station, so visiting Glasgow was easy and we didn't have to drive to the city.

The breakfast was just ok. There was plenty to choose from, but some of it was cold. We didn't particularly dislike it. The hotel was a little difficult for us to find at night, but you can chalk that up to us not being familiar with the area and being very tired after our plane was delayed 12 hours.

Staff were excellent when fire alarm was triggered (not by us). Restaurant was excellent and evening meal delicious. Breakfast was excellent and breakfast staff very efficient and friendly. Departure reception staff very helpful.

Told by staff to ring 5 minutes before arrival at station and Taxi would be waiting. However, waited over half an hour - could have walked in 10 minutes - which we did on our departure. Lighting in hotel generally and in room specifically very poor. Heating system not adequate - in fact very cold. Beds far too soft and no additional pillows.
