The room was huge and could have accommodated 3 people instead of 1! Location fantastic for SEC and Kelvingrove. Lots of fab places to eat and drink nearby, really nice vibe in the area. Although favourite place to dine was the sister restaurant Soul Food Kitchen, food is amazing!
Quite noisy but settled down by 11, 12 and to be expected if staying so central. Decor a bit dated but nothing I really disliked. Breakfast should have more healthy options such as fruit etc, veggie sausages not great. I would be asking evening restaurant chef to come up with one healthy vegan breakfast dish to offer.

The property was in a great location close to restaurants and pubs and also sights like Kelvingrove Museum and the University of Glasgow. It was clean and secure, but he best part was the friendly and helpful staff. From the front desk, to the cook and restaurant staff, everyone was so nice and helpful.
The rooms are quite small and we would have liked a small fridge, but the free breakfast (it was fabulous) and the cleanliness of the rooms made up for it. Beds were comfy and there was a kettle and coffee/tea in abundance.

Location perfect for exploring the West End and for walking to King’s Theatre. We also walked from Queen's Street station which took about 35mins, but we don’t mind walking! The dining room, staff and breakfast lovely, especially the porridge.
A small comment is because we were on ground floor of the guest house we kept hearing guests coming and going, a bit noisy at times.

Although it was written you can buy a parking card to locate the car nearby, it was not possible anymore. You have to pay to locate your car 3 pounds for an hour. Maximal parking time has been three hours. They gave us the information to park our car für about 6 pounds for 24 hours at an offical parking place 10 minutes ago by walk. First of all: it was very difficult to find the place by car. They haven‘t given us any help to get there. 2. They haven‘t told us that you have to load a special app to locate your car. If you are coming from abroad it is not possible to load down the App. Horror !!!! Tricky: arrive at 6pm. So can park your car til 8am. for free.

My room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean and modern. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of it. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was ideal for us - as we had booked to go to a local seafood restaurant nearby. We were only here for one night, to break the journey up en route to Aberdeen. Decent pubs/bars nearby.
Lower ground floor had a bit of a tatty courtyard view, shared with flats backing onto it - noisy neighbours in courtyard at night (think students). Temperature in lower ground room was too hot throughout night.

Excellent guest house, very close to Kelvingrove Museum. Lots of restaurants and bars in the area as well as supermarkets and local shops. All the staff we encountered were friendly and efficient, particularly the staff at breakfast who went to great lengths to ensure you had all you wanted, constant tea/coffee top ups. Breakfast was self service, hot and cold selections available. This is served in the Argyll Hotel across the road from the guest house, literally a short hop. Our room was lovely and warm, and although not huge, was comfortable. We will definitely staff here again when we are next in Glasgow. There is a 77 bus, amoungst others, which passes the door if you want to bus into the city or Kelvinhall subway station is around 5/7 minutes walk away. If you choose to walk into the centre this takes around 25 minutes. The concert venue, SEC/Armadillo is also within easy walking distance, about 10/15 minutes.
Nothing to dislike!

Perfect location, lovely room with windows on two sides and we managed to get parking right outside one window for the whole weekend. Room was spacious, warm, comfortable and had a table we could use to eat looking over Kelvin Grove park. Bathroom was very clean and had a lovely shower once I figured out how to use it! The location was only a few minutes walk from the venue we attended and there were plenty of places to eat and drink within a few minutes walk. Bus service in to town or to the airport just a minute away. What more can you want?
Would have liked to stay longer.

Guest house room was comfy and in such a great location. We were walks away from Kelvingrove museum and gardens, the University, Byers St , and quick drives into Merchant city or over the Clyde. It seems like a busy area when you arrive but it feels very comfortable and safe once you settle in. There's lots to eat around the area as well and the room was for sure good value for money when you also include the HUGE buffet breakfast in the main hotel. We left way too full.
Upon arriving after quite a long journey, we went to check in to the main hotel across the street and the staff was on his phone back half turned to us for what seemed like 10 minutes (but was likely closer to 5) while we stood infront of him waiting. I don't know if it was a work or personal call he was on, but there could have been some type of acknowledgement, as we and soon other guests behind us started wondering if we were in the right spot for check in. (The guest house is actually an extension to the main Argyll House Hotel which is across the street from where you'll sleep, but you'll check in and eat in the main hotel)

Position is great, between City & West End, Near Kelvingrove. Weekend street parking is free & usually available. Breakfast is self service & plentiful. Breakfast room is used by a third party, vegetarian restaurant for the rest of the day. Can recommend the food here also. Have stayed here several times due to value for money & position. Staff friendly.
We stayed in the annex across the street from the main hotel, as we have before. This means that you must leave the building for breakfast across the road. Doesn't bother us but if it might then you need to make sure that you booked into the hotel itself. This is not really a thing that we didn't like. There are some tight stairways which reflects the fact that it would have been several dwellings in the past.

Comfortable beds. Charming decor. Room had an eating area as well as beds, desk, and wardrobe. Excellent self serve breakfast (including eggs, bacon, potato scones, mushrooms, tomatoes, toast, cereal, and yogurt). Close to restaurants, grocery stores, and some museums. Looks like it’s on the AirPort Express bus route (although we took the train so didn’t use it).
While it is very convenient to some museums (especially Kelvingrove), it was about a 30-min hike to the city centre. Oddly, no good direct bus routes into the city centre.
