Comfortable room with usual lovely service and convenient breakfast. Both the night time and morning receptionists were extremely understanding and accommodating

The room was sweltering as the window was almost entirely locked shut apart from the smallest chink for air. The AC was ancient and didn’t work - no cooling at all and loud clattering sounds to make sleep impossible. The sun shone on the plate glass windows all day with temperatures hitting over 30 degrees so this was totally unacceptable and potentially dangerous. Breakfast was pretty dried up and congealed by 8.45 - and never replenished. The server in charge refused to provide more bread for the toaster, claiming this was hotel policy. I would have liked more than one piece of toast! Later there was an unpleasant and unnecessary scene where she publicly admonished an incoming guest and refused his entreaties to allow him any toast at all with his breakfast! Quite unbelievable…

Clean, parking available if you were lucky as there are a designated number for the hotel in nearby NCP type car park with access to hotel. Clean, spacious and comfy room. Large shower, no complaints at all. Very nice staff, gave us advice on where to eat, at an Italian a few buildings down. Very busy restaurant, Guiseppie’s, had almost an hour’s wait but we chose to wait for table and it was worth it. Generous portions.

Didn’t realise there was an entrance by the side of the car park so stood in view of waiting traffic on busy roundabout waiting to be let in until a guest at reception who had seen us in car park buzzed us in. Well situated for a walk round Bristol.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel and were particularly impressed with the shower facilities. The shower pressure was excellent quality and the bed was incredible comfortable. The addition of air conditioning in the rooms was delightfully appreciated. Breakfast was very average with simply acceptable choices, nothing to scream about, just your basics to sustain you till lunchtime for certain. The one complain we have is the price of the parking facilities which we think is slightly too high, given that if you pay overnight prices, but are not guaranteed a spot is dicey. Aside from that it was a great experience and Bristol was brilliant.

The room was lovely. The beds were comfortable. The location was perfect for us as we came from Temple Mead Station and we were at a conference in the Double Tree just around the corner. I do not eat meat and cannot eat wheat, so the lovely ladies gave me GF bread and sausages, so that was lovely. And I had beans and egg with it. Personally would have liked mushrooms and grilled (or hot-plated) tomatoes. All the staff throughout both days were very friendly, especially the 'chicken girl'! She would know what we mean. And the added extra of being able to leave our bags there on the last day was incredibly useful.

Only that little bit about the breakfast. But it was nearly perfect. Thank you very much.

Great location for the railway station. Night reception were great- it was as novelty to speak Gaelic in Bristol to the well travelled receptionist working at the front desk when we arrived! Our room was super- clean and comfortable and despite the hotel being in the middle of the city, it was well sound-proofed. Breakfast was a buffet and there was a good selection of available foods to choose from. The staff were efficient at clearing and cleaning tables and although it was bus, it didn't feel crowded.

The location is perfect if you plan on travelling further after visiting Bristol. With a bus stop into the city around the corner, or out afield on the opposite side of the road, getting around is very convenient. The train station is directly opposite, making travel within the country almost hassle-free.

Being situated on the main road into and out of the city, we could regularly hear sirens very late into the night, and they were quite loud. This isn't necessarily the fault of the hotel itself, but they would benefit from investing in some soundproofing to block out noise from outside.

Very convenient and accessible location - once you step outside of Bristol Temple Meads station, you can spot the hotel in the distance. It's about a 3-5min straight walk to the hotel. The staff at reception were bright and friendly. We could drop our luggage at the reception after check-out too. Breakfast was not bad- we stayed over the weekend so there was hot scrambled eggs and bacon (I'm not sure but it seems like from other reviews, perhaps there are no hot food on weekdays?). The decor of the reception / dining area was really modern and inviting. You have to use your keycard to enter the hotel. If you have yet to check in, you'll need to press the button at the entrance and wait for the staff to open the door for you. I guess this made the place feel safe since not anyone could enter the building. The lift was quite big too.

The room was kind of dusty and dated, other than that, it was quite alright.

Staff were in general helpful and friendly. Location was fairly close to the city centre and train station. Hotel room was clean Car park is to the rear of hotel with a limited number of hotel guests parking spaces (20) for £13 (pay in hotel) or use the main car £13.50 for over 4 hours and if arriving after 6pm and leaving before 9am £5 (£5.60 on the RinGo app.) Small Gluten free section at breakfast with separate toaster, but Jams & marmalade etc could do with repositioning away from below ordinary bread to prevent cross contamination.

Breakfast was not as advertised on booking.com as per below statement. In the morning, guests can enjoy a buffet breakfast, which offers hot cooked items and continental options. There is no hot cooked items at this hotel only continental breakfast. Continental breakfast selection could be improved.

I have stayed in some pretty swanky hotels around the world but this was just as comfortable as any of them. The staff are super pleasant and when I realised I’d forgotten my toothbrush the gave me one. The position is very convenient for driving and I was able to park at the back which made arriving and leaving easy as I didn’t need to drive through the city centre streets to get in and out of Bristol.

The windows could be a bit cleaner I suppose but you don’t stay there for the view!

Great location, very convenient for Temple Meads station, and within 15 minutes walk of everywhere we wanted to be (waterside area). Plain and simple but clean and comfortable, buffet breakfast included which pretty much catered for all tastes. Helpful friendly staff.

Could have used one more chair or low wide shelf (under hanging rails) to place clothes after undressing, but for a flying visit it was totally bearable. Was a bit noisy, woken way too early after a late night by banging and crashing in some sort of service yard at the back of the building and couldn't work out how to close the window fully. My roommate took earplugs though so slept through! Also fire alarm was set off accidentally and so loud I couldn't think straight! But that's not the fault of the hotel, just unlucky it happened when we were there.
