Hiding Space Westgate Apartments

Perfect location, right in the city centre with everything in close walking distance. Amazing modern apartment. We were left with toiletries and even left with coffee pods for the coffee machine, teabags and milk was a lovely gesture! Even down to a fan, everything was just so well thought of!

The only thing I think could be improved was the shower it wasn’t very powerful and I struggled to wash my hair

near places of interest, and a supermarket is just downstairs, clean bathroom and good kitchen area

water pressure is not enough. We felt itchy after sleeping for one night and suspect that the mattresses/beddings were not clean enough.

Lovely clean and comfortable apartment with everything we needed. Good location for city centre. Nice selection of Cowshed products.

The door rattled badly when someone entered the corridor door and woke us up, I had to wedge a spatula in the door to stop it. The fridge makes a weird whining noise that can be heard when in bed.

The bedding was very soft and comfortable. I liked the minimalistic arrangement of the studio with all the essentials available. I am a big fan of induction hob. It saves a lot of time and assists with cooking times. I loved the view from the windows. The whole place has been arranged with a lot of care and attention to detail which I highly appreciate.

The only thing I was missing was the washing machine. After a long journey I would appreciate it if I didn't have to wash by hands the clothes I wanted to reuse. Or at least something that may help with drying.

Location is excellent , communication A***** Luggage drop-off whilst we shopped and went to Bath Spa was a god send ( Thanks Will ) The apartment itself was great and very clean , it had everything we required to cook and the shower was very clean and very good , parking 3 or 4 minutes walk away , we parked right outside to unload and then moved the car to the car park. Not that expensive to park overnight. Tesco and Sainsbury’s close by for anything you may have forgotten. Would 100% stay there again when we visit Bath. Can’t say enough about this place exceeded all my expectations and some. Well done the Hiding Place.

Nothing to dislike

Big rooms. Looks fancy with all the mod coms needed. Really central so excellent for getting straight into town. The main bed was super comfy though. Didnt use the kitchen while we were there but was great having a coffee machine in the room.

The sofa bed was a little uncomfortable and the back cusions were really dusty so i ended up sleeping badly. Was really hard to find and could have done with a photo. No staff on site, so quite confusing how to get in in the first place. No parking outside the place so was a pain to find the door, unload and then.drive off to find parking elsewhere.

Nice and spacious. Comfortable and clean furniture. Fridge had a lot of things we could buy, which is nice when you arrive and don't have to go shopping right away. Large format of soap, shampoo, soap and even make-up remover and moisturizer for your use (with a note that you can buy them too if you wish). Book of all you need to know about hiding space and how to reach them.

Electronic check-in was a surprise, no staff on site. Would have liked an advance note/instruction about how to get in and check-in. Got through it easily enough but could be a problem for someone not used to computers or someone who has limited english knowledge.

The location was excellent and the studio apartment was comfortable and well appointed.

Check in is an absolute pain. Check in is online and until a 750 pound security deposit was paid, check in could not be completed. Once the deposit is paid, then someone unlocks the door to the apartment and you have 10 minutes to get into the apartment. A difficult process not for those unfamiliar with online dealings. Further, the security deposit on a debit card is actually charged to your card - not a preauthorisation as per a credit card. 3 days after leaving the apartment I'm still waiting for my bank to reverse the charge.

A great stay in a perfect location with everything within walking distance! The walk from the train station to the apartment was only about 10 mins. Upon arrival, just had to press the button for reception which I was let into the building and check in through the monitor (there's no one there but check in is straightforward - have your QR code ready). Entering the apartment was a surprise as everything was clean and well equipped! You have Cowshed products everywhere and even small things which a woman always has to pack like cotton pads and buds. Tesco and Sainsbury's is literally below or across the way so getting supplies was super easy. Staff were super helpful as we didn't know the extractor fan for cooking slides out haha. They were quick to respond and helped us out. Definitely a great and comfortable stay for a weekend in Bath.

There is no lift in the building so for those who have mobility issues, this would be a problem. I would enquire with Hiding Space on which of their other buildings would be best to stay in. Someone in another post did mention the early morning noise from Tesco as they bring their stock in, so it can disturb the morning sleep which didn't bother me and my partner so much as we just closed the window and it was less noisy. I wish there was a small cabinet of drawers to place clothes in temporarily as there was only hangers.

We have just got back from our stay at Hiding Space. Our experience was exceptional, the room was lovely and spotlessly clean. The apartment had everything you could need, even down to the little details such as board games and champagne flutes. The mini bar was very reasonably priced and the booklet with all of the information in was very helpful. The lady who helped us to check in even rang us after 10 or so minutes to check that we had go into the room alright. The view from the room was lovely and there is a Tesco Express just next door, with plenty of pubs and bars nearby too. The cowshed products were a lovely touch aswell. We had a perfect stay and will definitely be returning next time we visit Bath. Thank you!
