Good breakfast. Lots of lovely berries and good coffee. Staff were attentive and helpful. The gym was small but okay for a quick cardio/upper body workout. Lovely grounds.

The hotel feels a little run down and dated in places (public areas and rooms - I think they have started a refurbishment and I was in one of the older style rooms) and there wasn't a great range of options for vegetarian/vegan diets on the lunch or dinner menu. At lunch time, the soup was chicken and none of the sandwiches were suitable for vegans. The dinner menu is very meat and fish focussed (these options sound incredible and really high quality) and the veggie options didn't match up in terms of quality or value for money. I had soup and falafel which was tasty, but simple and light.

An outstanding meal in the Conservatory in the evening, superb food, and excellent service. Facilities and rooms are very good indeed. I liked the call prior to arrival to ask if I needed a dinner reservation for the second night; most professional.

On the busy Saturday afternoon, on return to the hotel the doorman's rather curt 'do you have a reservation' greeting; while the motivation is understandable a little more eloquence would be helpful and still reach the same objective.

Very professional service, all the sfaff very friendly and helpful. Everything is in high standard. Great food, delighted breakfast options. Nice bar with live piano music. Overall very positive and definitely placed to recommended.

The bathroom is a bit old and looks tired. Some places in the room are a bit dusty. Pictures frames and bed frame a bit dusty, dado rails dusty. tv could be a bit bigger.

A lovely property very conveniently located. The bar area and restaurant were very nice. The seafood platter (as a starter) was a notable point of difference and I would go as far to say it was probably the best I have ever had, and I’ve had a few in some excellent restaurants over the years. All the food we had during our stay was superb and I highly recommend the restaurant for breakfast and dinner.

Everything was great.

Excellent location with ample parking. Very peaceful setting. Very warm welcome at Reception and by all staff thought the hotel. Excellent food in the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. The hotel room was a very good size, immaculately clean and the fresh fruit was a very nice and welcome touch. it feels as if this hotel has thought of it’s guests comfort and I highly recommend a stay here.

Location of the hotel and its ambience. The room was as expected. Comfortable and spacious. Room service to clean and replenish articles was excellent but as expected. Nice soaps and good supply of towels. Quality food and excellent service

No individual shampoo and body wash containers which made it very difficult having a bath as the containers were high up the wall Only one small electric heater in the room which on a cold evening was adequate only when turned to maximum. A small function room opposite my room which made it slightly noisy but it was closed just after 11.00 following a request for quiet.

We had a very nice comfortable stay at the property. We ate dinner on the first night of our stay and food was good. We drove so the location for us was ideal being not far from the city and easy to find off the main road. Special mention to Tony who helped us with our luggage and showed us to our room. He was always cheerful and helpful whenever we saw him around the hotel.

Simply can't think of anything that I didn't like.

The breakfast was incredible, with both menu and continental items. The kippers were excellent. The bar was relaxing for having a drink. Bed was comfortable.

The hotel is on the edge of Aberdeen and in a safer area than Aberdeen center which we didn't find appealing at all.
