Telal Resort Al Ain

We can’t express how much we love the place. The staff was amazing, **Thannkkk yoouuu Moaty*** for making our stay excellent by going over and beyond with your service. Also thank you Aqib for being super nice to us. The place was super beautiful, villas are super private and clean, the private patio and outdoor area with the villa. The list of activities and the quality is amazing. They send you with a guide on your own as a couple that takes you to the activities of your choosing. The view and the vibe of the swimming pool is beautiful. Can’t wait to come back again with our friends. ~ Salem & Suha

We all loved the staff, from reception, drivers, gym/pool staff, dining staff, housekeeping staff, etc. All very very friendly. The views from the Gazelle one-bedroom villas are breathtaking. The rooms are perfect, with amazing A/C, comfortable beds, and beautiful bathrooms. The terrace has great seating overlooking the dunes, with a stunning firepit. Sitting outside all you hear is wildlife and the watering of the beautiful trees. We genuinely didn't want to leave. The rooms were very clean and did not smell anything other than clean.

The pool closes at 7, whilst that's fairly normal I prefer to be able to swim later. There's nothing else I didn't like, that is very rare. Not much to do in the surrounding areas, but we didn't go sightseeing.

Desert Safari is good. You can view few animals but is totally acceptable since it covers a large area. The staff provided excellent customer service. Quality fresh food and understandable why it is a little bit expensive. The gas bonfire is excellent. There are indoor activities like pingpong, large chess play and the gym is provides adequate exercises but is well maintained. There are outdoor activities but we did not avail because of the warm weather. Everything feels your in a different place and it delivered outstandlingly. Highly recommended if you want a break from the city life.

There are flies in the room. About 2-3 flies. But is tolerable. Small outdoor swimming pool. we did not know we can bring our own alcohol. And there are road constructions along the way. Little advertisements about place.

This was my fourth trip to Telal Resort over 6 years and it’s still as mesmerising as it was when I first came here. The one bedroom villa is it’s own oasis and you feel like you really are the only people at the resort. We had a lovely day at the peaceful pool and then sipped sun downers from the comfort of our own villa watching the sunset. I have been with groups of friends, my husband and I just can’t wait to bring my mum here! Everyone can enjoy it if you are looking for a relaxing escape out of the city. The service is impeccable and everyone is genuinely so lovely and kind- always wanting to go above and beyond for you. To all the wonderful staff at Telal, thank you for another amazing trip where I will cherish the memories.

Seems to be developed by someone with love for art, specially old aged tree trunks- don’t know what they are called. Overall the resort is very spacious and blends nicely among the beautiful sand dunes. All around there are views and access to the desert where you can go for a walk, early morning 6-7am is the best. I stayed in the one bedroom villa which was very artistically put together. Might sound odd but the shower box is just behind the bed post. The back side balcony has a fire place which is ideal for winter nights. You will see a lot of Gazelles wandering about, which appear to be very comfortable around visitors. The food from the one restaurant at the property was way better than what we expected. There are two pools, the one with open desert view was very nice.

Good set of activities are available but priced very unreasonably. Simple sand boarding with two adults can cost almost 150 for 15 mins.

The resort had excellent service. The restaurant and pool service was amazing, we tried most of the things in the Menu and everything was very superb! A great shoutout to the chef and his staff, Moaty, Shuvadip, Aman and Aashirvad. They definitely made sure we had one of our best experiences far! Everything was excellent

Drinking water provided is not adequate. as per normal norms when one person should drink at least 1.5-2 ltr water , in the room only 3 half liter bottles (max 4 is kept). yes when we called again they gave another 4 but i found that's really in adequate and little in convenient too. i booked for 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) and ofcourse the payment is also accordingly. hence i really suggest resort should take care of this aspect also

The location of Telal is exceptional with stunning views of the desert from your private villa or the pool. The whole atmosphere of the resort is pure bliss, it really feels like a piece of paradise. The staff were amazing and so attentive, ensuring any request was met. We would recommend this resort to anyone, a true delight.

I couldn't think of anything to improve. We didn't want to leave and the only downside is we hadn't booked longer.

We enjoyed our visit to Telal a lot! It's really a great place, in the middle of the dunes, but easily accessible from Abu Dhabi. The food was expensive but it was delicious, staff was super friendly and the nature around it is worth every penny! We might very much return to the EAU just to come back here for few days. The pool area is great, plenty of sun loungers for everyone, was never crowded and we often felt like we had the pool for ourselves. The breakfast one of the days was a-la-carte as there were few guests. The poached eggs were cooked at perfection, most probably the best I ever ate. It's def. a 5* resort, and above all we enjoyed the fact that it has few rooms, so you get great service and plenty of space even when it's fully booked. The heritage rooms (detached houses actually) are very well built, with a lot of attention to detail, you feel like in an old village, but you have all comfort at hand.

There are very few small things to improve - e.g. the door to the house was hard to open and it was pushing back by itself, so we always had to be careful not to lock ourselves out.
