We (3 couples) stayed in stone house hotel for 3 nights and loved the experience. The place is beautiful, clean, functional, staff is friendly and helpful, rooms are spacious, good fresh breakfast. As a highlight, we would highly recommend booking the tours with the hotel. We booked the golden package which included transfers to the airport, balloon, red tour and green tour. Not only thins comes cheaper than booking things separately, but also the guides are fantastic. We were able to visit all highlights without having to worry about anything, visits were timed perfectly, never needed more or less time anywhere, and the most important part, the guides gave us amazing explanations and history lessons along the way. Our experience was great thanks to this.

Everything was great

The hotel is fantastic, it seems to be in a fairy tale. We really had a great stay! Our room was new, always clean and the view from our balcony very relaxing. The staff are fantastic, always polite and helpful with any requests we had. The breakfast is rich and so good, the products are fresh every morning. The quality-price is very competitive! We had such a good time that we didn't want to leave anymore, it still always in our hearts!

It's a wonderful hotel. We arrived at night and were immediately checked in, we were lucky because our room was free. The location is very convenient, everything is within walking distance, next to the sunset point on the part of Goreme. We had a room with a balcony, a very spacious bathroom, and in general, a cozy and clean room. Thank you to the staff for fulfilling any of our requests and helping with all our questions. They even arranged for us a separate private tour to the waterfalls.

There is nothing bad

My husband and I slept like babies, breakfast was tradition, fresh, nourishing, the staff was beyond thoughtful and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and spent time offering information (Kadir at the front desk is a delight!)- so kind hearted and educated!) about the area even carried some raisins from the grapes grown on their property w is! Everything was heartfelt and done with such pride!!!! Our tour guide connected with the hotel was magnificent ( we did a private tour bc we knew wed we be tired and may want to be on our own schedule), the guide even made reservations at a well known ( we come to know later) testi kabob place 6 hrs prior so we’d have made to order! All was so loving and full of pride there! Even kitties:)

I wanted an extra pillow and they brought it so nothing;)

Position is perfect, in the center of Göreme.

Breakfast was the best part of our stay - from the terrace it was easy to enjoy a beautiful view over the Cappadocia's characteristic landscape. Unfortunately, we could neither fly with the air balloon neither enjoy the ballons views in the sunrise due to strong wind. The hotel was well maintained and the room very spacious.

Not really related to the hotel but more as advice for the other travellers. The shared taxi ride. It is a very convenient service and just not recommended if the time is tight. We were the first of our ride and we spent over 45 minutes collecting all the other passenger from the other hotels

Everything was amazing and even beyond the expectations. I can say that rooms look better in real life than on photo! Each room is beautifully furnished and decorated. The hotel itself is full of plants and flowers. We had our private terrace with swings and view on stone pillars! So stunning! Hotel stuff was very friendly and helpful. Location is super super nice. It is right in the center of Goreme but a bit aside of busy street with many available parking spots (normal parking spots!). The street is a well done paved street which is a huge advantage considering the fact that most of the streets in the town are just gravel roads going very curved up to a hill.

We did a lot of research beforehand on which hotel would be best for us in Cappadocia. We picked the Stone House Cave Hotel because it was a true cave hotel, had a great location and was an affordable price - the fantastic breakfast and luxurious rooms were a real bonus. Everyone we spoke with at the hotel was friendly and willing to go above and beyond to help us. It was much nicer than I expected to be located close to everything in the centre of town - much less walking up steep hills than lots of other hotels!

The rooms were quite warm (in April!) but that is my one and only critique!

Wifi was great. Beds were comfortable. Location is at the end of the street, so feels more secluded / less noisy. But you are still close to everything. There's street parking, but it's free and very close to the hotel! The hotel will contact you for tour and activity options. I booked a horseback riding tour and loved it as an experienced rider! The hotel arranged for pick-up / drop-off for the tour, and everything was communicated perfectly. Breakfast was a buffet style and the terrace is exactly as-pictured!

Nothing

The location is perfect. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants on flat ground. Rooms 123 and 124 are the best. They have a large terrace where you can watch the balloons fly over. We had room 124. Very spacious. Huge shower.

A better hairdryer and tissues in the room would perfect it. Scrambled eggs would also be great for breakfast. When walking around Göreme make sure your feet are fully covered. Didn’t realise how dusty the whole area is due to the landscape. A road sweeper type vehicle sprays water, I think to keep the dust down. This makes huge muddy areas so sandals aren’t ideal.
