We had an amazing stay at Mithra cave hotel. The hotel is small and cozy and all members of the staff were so friendly and did their absolute best to accommodate us. We stayed in their honeymoon suite which was an experience on its own and had a photo shoot on their private rooftop terrace which ended up in a proposal and the setting could not have been more perfect! A special thanks to Ilkay who helped arrange this and made sure that we had an all in all seamless experience, we are forever grateful! Love ❤️ Mehmet & Moni

This is the second time that my husband and I stayed at Mithra Cave Hotel. We originally met at this hotel and decided to go back for part of our honeymoon! The staff continue to be amazing and so welcoming! They really made our stay extra special. Our room had its own private balcony which made watching the hot air balloons so much easier in the early mornings, however the hotel has an amazing terrace with an excellent view of the hot air balloons and Cappadocia! Thank you Mithra Cave Hotel for making our stay so wonderful! You will forever have a special place in our hearts. :)

We noticed that the quality of the breakfast was different than the first time we stayed at the hotel in 2018. Although it wasn't bad, it would have been better to have more selections on a day-to-day basis.

Mithra Cave Hotel is one of the highest point in terms of hotel location offering a fantastic view of the hot air balloon launch in the morning, however we found that a similar location hotel just beside it cost much lower having said that it wouldnt be fair to compare the rooms facilities and breakfast offered as we didnt get to try the other hotels hospitality. Finally the Hotel is just a 5 mins walk to the town, you dnt actually need to prebook your tour packages online as there are multiple agency in town that offers competitive prices which is at least a 20-30% discount if u book locally, all agency accepts credit cards cash EUR or TRY

Room was relatively small for a family of 3 Adults for the price we paid but service location and staff made up for the premium, I would still recommend the hotel, however if you are on a budget this place may not be suitable for you

Views were great. Breakfast lovely. Nice location. Comfy beds and room and great A/C. Was a nice few nights stay.

People taking up the rooftop view points with engagements and photo shoots when they need to be sharing them. The hotel should make these people pay for the private rooftop if they wanted a private experience. When checking in the receptionist was trying to hard sell us different excursions. We had been in Cappadocia for a few days so didn’t want to do any but he was very insistent even though we was tired. One of the staff also wasn’t saying nice things about the place we stayed previously which we didn’t appreciate as wasn’t very nice to hear when we had enjoyed the other hotel.

Location was excellent great views of the balloons in the morning. Staff were very helpful and went out of their way

Breakfast starts at 7.30 it would be nice to have something available for many guests who wake up at 5am to see the balloons to have a snack or drink

I love how the property is situated at a high elevation which I considered a plus factor since we can enjoy the panoramic view of this quaint town. We also love the staff as they’re warm and friendly! We have arrived early in the morning and the lovely receptionist has offered us a room to stay— we’re so lucky! I also didn’t expect to have windows for viewing but still they exceeded the expectation and I got a really great room! thank you so much!

Tiny little things like the dusty room but it can’t be helped as this is a cave hotel. :)

Amazing views, multiple terraces at different levels, friendly and helpful staff who helped arranged different activities for us. The breakfast was overladen with goodies and options were put together very well. On sunny mornings, eating out on the terrace was amazing with the brilliant views

Not much to dislike, except - we experienced some thick dust falling down in the cave part of the room - it felt as if the washroom could benefit from having a stronger ventilator - the sofabed could be more comfortable Overall, it was a very good experience

Brilliant location! We had the best spot when it came to watching the hot air balloons each morning. Our room was insanely huge, with a big jacuzzi bath, seperate bathroom and then our room upstairs which also had its own little cave inside. We were a short stroll to the resturant, there really was no reason to leave this hotel only to do activities etc. We had breaky included & also dinners every night here! highly recommend the claypot kebap!!! AMAZING!! Staff were great, they also celebrated my partners birthday by bringing us fresh fruit & organising our ATV activity. Loved loved staying here and if you want to walk into the city its literally a 5min stroll...the hill coming back up i won't lie was pretty tough lol

This hotel definitely exceeds our expectation. The location is unbeatable for hot air balloon watch in the morning. They are situated pretty high up on the hill, so the view was fantastic. The have a few patios set up for taking photos and I did not feel it was overly crowded. Kids loved the caves and loved this hotel. We got some very nice photos taken. The hotel is also only a few minutes walk to the town center with lots of shops and restaurants. It was set up very clean and very cute. Our room is big and an infant crib was thoughtfully arranged for us. Breakfast was nice with a variety of choices and I like that they alter the menu slightly every day so it's not the same stuff. Water, coffee and wifi are all free of charge. You can also book daily tours and transportation to the airport easily at the front desk. Staff are quite friendly.

There is a bit of city construction going on at the front of the hotel during our stay. So the street is a bit dusty (the hotel itself is quite clean though). Good thing is that the noise level was low even with the construction.

The room is spacious (fairy chimney), the breakfast a lot of choices and view of course breathtaking.

the private rooftop unable to visit, require 200 euro which i find it is bit pricey. Without the railing, the rooftop terrace is perfect for photoshooting
