Golden Orange Hotel

Great breakfast - a rich selection of vegetables, herbs, cheeses, sweets, fruit. There is soup of the day, you can also order scrambled eggs. Breakfast may not differ much from day to day, but with such a variety one could always try something new. We were in May and we were offered both fresh strawberries and watermelon. Probably in somer season the choice of fruit will be even richer. The sea is just a stone's throw away. Cafes, restaurants - in walking distance. The stop of public transport is a 10 minute walk from the hotel, without changing you can get to the center and to the Lower Duden waterfall (though, it takes more than an hour). An unexpected advantage for us was the gym, as the weather was not always good. The pool on the territory, at least in May, was colder than the water in the sea, so we did not swim. Near the pool it was quite comfortable, it was possible to order drinks from the hotel restaurant. The hotel staff were on hand to help. Since we booked 2 rooms and some of the guests left a couple of days early, we were allowed to stay in a quieter room with pool view. When my mother got a backache and couldn't get up, I was allowed to take breakfast to the room. Two small bottles of water were put in the room every day.

If you are leaving early for an excursion, you can order lunchboxes. As it turned out, they consist of bread and three 20gr packages of jam. And they bring this lunch-box after 10 pm, when you can no longer run to a market. The room with a garden view means a view of the road, because there is no garden near the hotel. There is a lot of noise from the road. Noise isolation between rooms is not very good either. The wifi on the iPhone is unstable, once a day you have to enter your passport number and every second time a new Email address. And after check-out the internet disappears, so that you can not even order an Uber. With Android such problems were not observed.

Hotel was really good and staff was also very helpful everything about the hotel was wonderful except one horrible experience with the pamakule balloon ride and daytrip tour guide. Please avoid the pamakule daytrip tour guide arrange by the hotel as that person is fraud, he once cancelled our balloon ride at the midnight before the balloon ride and he also didn't pay the money to the driver who accompanied us through out the pamakule daytrip and spent whole day with us but just when we were getting back after finishing the tour, driver stopped in middle of the road and refused to take us back to hotel as he was not paid by the tour guide. I tried calling the tour guide to tell the driver to take us back but the tour guide didn't respond at all thanks to the hotel reception person who somehow managed to convince the driver to take us back to the hotel. I don't know the name of the tour guide but I know his number it's +905373718436, it was a horrible experience with that tour guide who kept all the money with himself and didn't turned up on the day of tour and also didn't paid the money to the driver. I felt bad for driver as I enquired about his payment next day but tour guide didn't paid him any money and also stopped responding to my messages. Avoid this person.

Fantastic location 2 minute walk from the beach and set back from the main road so not too noisy. Beds were very comfortable. Staff at reception were really helpful and friendly and helped to book all our trips and assisted with any questions we had.

Bathrooms are a bit small but shower was still good. Although no issues with trip booking would have been helpful to have a receipt/booking confirmation ticket for trips booked. Although staff were more than happy to check and confirm pick up times etc.

Hotel is located near the sea, it is nicely equipped and the staff is very professional and polite. Unlike in many places in Turkey, they speak multiple languages, so it is very easy to communicate your needs. We requested an early check-in and the rooms were waiting for us when we arrived. Restaurant Veranda is located within the hotel, so you can also call a room service if you need anything. Breakfast is served from 8 am and varieties of Turkish foods are available every day. We have also dined here a couple of times and the food was delicious. Cleaning team makes sure everything is nice and clean, while also not bothering you during the time you're in the room. Konyaalti beach is approximately on a 2-minutes walking distance from the hotel. It is logically separated into plenty of little public and private beaches, so you can choose where to spend your day. Each private beach has its own sunbeds and parasols available for rental (cca. 9 euros per person), while public ones are mostly visited by locals who bring their own chairs or towels. A large promenade stretches along the entire Konyaalti beach, so the surrounding area is really beautiful. It is also very lively, since many cafés have live music at night. Plenty of restaurants and fast foods are in the neighborhood, and several shops are also located at a walking distance. Many taxi stands (buttons which automatically call taxi when pressed) are also nearby, as well as the bus stops.

It can get extremely hot in Antalya, but you cannot use your air conditioner while not in the room, since your key card needs to be inserted in order to get the power. Wi-Fi signal is also poor, but this happens in almost every hotel in Turkey, so it is generally good to have mobile data as an alternative when visiting. However, both these remarks are very common for the hotels, so this is just an information for the guests, not a complaint. :)

fantastic location straight opposite from the beach and the promenade . staff were very friendly.rooms very comfortable and clean lovley pool and the veranda restaurant next door was excellent and great value for money . we will be returning in October when my partner has to complete his dental treatment.

my only negative comment would be the hotel gym is catered for people wanting to do weights there are no treadmills or an exercise bike as a keen runner I found the gym very pointless and they get rid of a few weight machines and install a treadmill and a bike at least .

The hotel has the best location..as its a beach front.. literally less than minute walk. All the shops , food places very near .The hotel itself is nicely presented. I stayed in the family deluxe connected room. Very convenient as has door in middle to go in and out of both rooms from inside,also has 2 bathrooms. Rooms were very clean and bathroom clean. The fact it has a restaurant within hotel makes it even better. Staff are excellent..Abdullah is a absolute gem, he went above and beyond for us. Absolutely loved the stay,.

The bathroom is small.. but still was adequate.

Location is great for the beach relax, as for having access to some city sights - you have to walk long or go by bus (~700 meters from the hotel), or pay for a taxi, which is not cheap. The cafe in the hotel is amazing, tasty food and polite staff. Hotel staff and cleaning service was also awesome- always helpful and smiling. Wi-Fi connection was ok, I was able to work from laptop + had an online call- it wasn’t broken or interrupted, which means that internet quality is great

It’s noticeable that the hotel equipment isn’t new, some walls are spotted

Location: well located, 2 minutes walk to the nearest beach, stores and a lot of restaurants nearby. Public transport very close with decent access to city center and airport as well. Staff: very friendly and helpful staff - some lack the English knowledge, but nevertheless helped the best they could. Cleanliness: the whole hotel is really clean, and staff is working continuously to keep it so. We were just wondering why there weren't vacuuming done when we have asked for cleaning in our room. Food: the breakfast is varied, and you receive platters. the lunch/dinner is a 4 course one you can choose from the restaurant menu and varies from international to local cuisine.

- the fridge in our room was more like a dark storage room - did not keep anything cool, if anything then warmed things up. - the AC in our room was dropping some water every once in a while for a few minutes, unless it happened at night it wasn't much of a bother.

The location was very good, just 1 block away from the beach and a few blocks away from the restaurants area. The room was exactly like in the pictures and was super clean. The staff was very friendly too.

For breakfast, you would get "everything that is available" on that day to your table, instead of making it buffet. This was not only a waste of food, since we didn't want to eat everything that was brought to us, but also everything came packed in plastic film, making unnecessary plastic waste. The coffee was also not the best, it could be improved.
