Krabi Orchid Hometel

The hosting was amazing. We have been traveling around Thailand for a while now and it’s the best place we have stayed at so far. My boyfriend was so happy he said it was best place he stayed at ever. The hosting was nothing like we experienced before, the couple running the hotel were so warm and friendly. There was bottles of water left at our door every day, free bananas offered for the guests which is great when you’re going out on a tour and didn’t get chance to grab a snack before hand. The location was great, we were so close to three markets. One was a weekend market that we loved. Loads of bikes to rent, cute coffee places and only half an hour drive to Ao Nang beach. The room was spotless and so comfortable, we choose the room with the balcony, and it was great to watch the town below and enjoy a few drinks. We would be recommending this hotel to anyone traveling to Krabi. We were so happy with our stay and sad to go.

Sitting on my room's balcony at night listening to live music from the night market. The staff is absolutely wonderful. The gentleman at the desk took care of my luggage and carried it to my room. The rooms are clean, have good AC and refrigerators to keep your complimentary water cold and whatever else you might buy. Most importantly, Dalala in reception did hours of research for an excursion of Khao Sok national park that I wanted to do. She went above and beyond and offered me many different solutions. Once chosen, she gave me tips and reminders of simple ways to make it even better. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, and commend Dalala with the highest regards. I've stayed in much fancier places that don't put near the effort that Dalala does with no expectation of something in return. She is a huge asset!!!

It was all great for its value!

probably the best location in the whole of krabi old town , in the centre of absolutely everything , no more than a 10 minute walk for anything ( other than bus terminal which is only a £2.50 grab) The actual hotel itself was great , staff were incredibly friendly and it was very clean and a decent value for money. Two bottles of water and toilet paper left daily which was nice

Could have been nice to have some instant coffees / teas in the room already and not to have to go downstairs ( especially being on one of the top floors )

The staff here were so lovely. Really helpful and even left me a birthday card & cake on the bed without us telling them it was my birthday, they just saw on my passport! The room itself was comfortable & clean, bathroom slightly outdated but fine. No window but there is a spacious balcony for all guests.

Nothing! We stayed here for just one night and it was perfect.

Very well located, right across from a small night food market, a 7-Eleven, the bus stop to the airport, and the river walk Hair dryer, fridge, air conditioning and bottles of water

Very bad smell in the windowless room After dinner I came back to the hotel and not paying attention I got the wrong floor, and with my key I WENT INTO THE ROOM ON THE BOTTOM FLOOR, which I thought was mine !!!! I have notified the receptionist, I hope they will do something about it !

Krabi orchid is in a lovely area of Krabi Town, alot quiter than Ao Nang area. There is a food market directly over the road with lots of choice and refreshing juices and beers. This closes at 10pm so there wasnt really much noise overnight. There is also a fruit/veg market at the other end of the street, restaurants plenty shops, 7/11's and ATM's.The staff were very helpful, polite and welcoming. They booked our 7 island tour for us and our taxi to the airport.

The staff was amazing. There are free bananas at the counter ;). They welcome you back everytime we came back from a trip. You get 2 bottles of water a day and new toilet paper. If you choose a room without a balcony, there is still a smoking area. This is a balcony everyone can go to, but its very quiet and a nice place to sit. The beds were good and everything was nice.

The only downside was the lack of a window, but we knew that beforehand

The location near Krabi Market , easily accessible by shared taxis if you are lucky ;) Staff is super friendly. 7/11, local fruit shops and other Markets for clothes, soveunier shopping are also just a walk away. We had to take covid tests before our departure and there were labs there too.

Room without a balcony could be a bit suffocating.

We were there for less than 24hrs. The lady at the reception was super lovely and helpful! You get what you pay.

The toilet didn’t flush strongly enough sometimes so you had to flush a couple times but other than that all good.

The host luckily let our friend check in for us due to us having problems with our ferry - so we were very very grateful for that!

The bathroom lay out is quite awkward. The shower soaks everywhere so make sure to remove toilet roll when taking a shower!
