BED Chiangmai Gate- Adults Only

This ‘concept’ boutique hotel was a refreshing, and beautiful experience. The minimalist view of white and black furnishings and glass was pleasant, modern and nothing else was needed. Our room was large with sliding glass doors onto a nice sized balcony overlooking the courtyard pool. And the pool and lounging area were so pleasant to see each morning, although the water was quite chilly! (Not a complaint).The young staff at Reception and during breakfast are exceptional- friendly but not overbearing, efficient, and accommodating. Housekeeping is also to be praised for their work ethic and efficient cleaning. Having large coolers filled with water, juice, snacks for free is out of this world!

Great location, super.friendly staff and very clean room. Everything also looks new. We came around 7 in the morning and our room was t ready. Another room was ready and they gave us that room so we wouldnt have to wait. Super nice of them

The downside was that our room was om the ground floor. If somebody was taking in the hallway we could hear everything. They have a quite zone between 21:00-08:00 but still some geusts where very loud. Also after 08:00 when the quite zone was lifted and we wanted to sleep some more we could not, cause of all the noise from outside With that being sad, i would still some back to this hotel but ask for a room on another floor.

Exceptional. 100% recommended. Totally exceeding our expectations and what we have paid for. All the staff are incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. They always greet the guests with smiles. They also assist us from online through Booking messaging to offline during our actual stay. The room is spacious, clean, and comfortable; especially, the shower provides hot and strong water pressure. The facility in general is also very new and well-maintained. The breakfast is delicious with mnay varieties. And there are free 24/7 coffee machine, juice bar, instance noodles, snacks, etc. which is totally marvelous. The location is close to both the airport and Old Town. There is also a night market, 7-11s, tons of cafes and restaurants nearby. It only takes 10 minute to get to One Nimman, Maya malls, more modern area by car.

What a hidden gem! Loved this place so much. The staff here are by far the highlight. The make you feel like family and are just so nice, kind, there to help at any time and there for a chat too. There is free water, tea, coffee, juice, cereal, snacks all day and night long. No kettle in the room but there because you get them free in the reception. Which was nice as each time I went down I then stayed and had a chat with the staff who were always so interesting. Breakfast is excellent. It’s a mixture of international and Thai and each day is different. The room is lovely, not huge but good enough. The pool was really cold which was nice after a hot humid day out and about. When we first arrived I didn’t feel it was a good area because it was outside of the old town but actually it was fab. There was so much to see so close by: a really nice coffee shop and restaurant around the corner called Cozy, the Saturday street market steps away, loads of laundry places on the next street, some gorgeous temples in the area too. My favourite was the silver temple which was like mins walk away. I highly recommend this place for a stay. We honestly didn’t want to leave. Loved everything about it. A huge kudos to the staff you make it amazing!

Ummm nothing really

Had a very warm welcome at BED. It was by far the nicest hotel we stayed it. Free water is provided as much as you want and you can even take ramen, juices and others things from the fridge in the lobby. The complementary breakfast was tasty and changed every morning. Each member of staff was super friendly. Laundry service was good too, laundry came back neatly folded and smelled great. The pool area is very nice and we had our room directly at the pool but thanks to quite hours from 8pm we were never disturbed by any noises at night. 10/10 would recommend.

Everything was great

Staff was amazing! Delicious breakfasts served every day and a wall refrigerator full of bottled water and juice whenever needed...as well as coffee available all day. Close to restaurants and Chiang Mai Gate.

Pool was beautiful, but mostly inside with one of the ends open to sky for sunning. We were too busy to use, but if you wanted to lay around the pool, not too much area.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The staff provide an exceptional service which made our stay so memorable - we were always greeted with a smiling face, provided with local recommendations, constantly offered (free) food and drinks at the hotel, they even helped us return our scooter and get our deposit back very late at night. When they are not at the front desk, they help serve breakfast, clean up the communal area, restock the fridges or attend to any needs for guests. Everyone is so friendly and speaks really good English. Clean spacious rooms with daily room service. The hotel is also within close proximity to old city and walking distance to Saturday night market. Do yourself a favour and stay here when visiting Chiang Mai!

You feel so very welcome here from the second you walk in. Staff is super friendly, they always ask you how you are doing and what you are up to. They also gave us many super useful tips about places to go. We had a problem with a company we hired a scooter from and they also assisted in that, making us getting all our money back. All the staff speaks English very well. Thank you guys for making our stay so pleasant!!! The breakfast is freshly made every day and the chef is really good. She's super sweet as well and asked us several times whether there was something in particular we wanted to eat. The coffee tastes amazing. On top of that you can have complimentary water, fruit, cookies, juice and instant noodles all day. The rooms are super clean and tidy. They have everything you need. Beds are super comfy. All in all BED is a very well thought out concept that really works. We only saw happy guests there and it is extremely popular. We will most certainly come back!

Nothing really. If I really have to say something, I would remark that the doors aren't isolated very well so you can hear other guests in the corridor at night and early in the morning. Nonetheless, they do have a policy of being silent between 9 p.m. and 8 a.m. and most guests stick to it.

We loved our stay at BED! The staff were all so friendly and helpful. They even got me a cake on my birthday without my family arranging it. The room was minimalist but comfortable and clean. The breakfast was great - lots of options (Thai, western, hot and cold, fresh fruit) and there was unlimited free coffee/tea, water and snacks at any time. The location was really convenient, just outside the old city. There was very little noise at day or night. The pool was quite cold but good for a quick swim and nice to relax next to.

There’s a few minor things I think could be added to the room (e.g. a better hairdryer, more complementary toiletries, more storage space), but nothing that ruined my stay!

The owner/manager has clearly reflected well over the design and operations of the hotel. Congratulations for the result: this is a great place to stay. - quiet area. Hotel premises are subject to silence at late evenings and nights. - clever design - supersilent airconditioning; quite small fridge - very clean - friendly staff - original breakfast, with some unusual items - free drinks at reception and in the room's small fridge. - TV with international channels.

I cannot think of anything i did not like.
