Hotel Platzhirsch

An extremely good quality-price hotel, very clean, with carefully chosen services and an extremely kind and caring staff. High quality breakfast with a very nice presentation (for example - boiled eggs are not simply served, but painted in fantastic color combinations). Exceptional location, right in the middle of the old city center, surrounded by restaurants and shops. It also has its own Asian restaurant, with very good services. A beautiful and accessible historic building.

There is nothing to complain about, the employees are very focused on customer needs

I had such an incredible experience at this place! The warmth and hospitality from Sigi, Norah, Josie, and the young man at the bar (whose name escapes me) truly made me feel like family. The food was not only delicious but also a delight for the senses. The attention to detail was outstanding, from the intricate glass edging on the doors to the carefully chosen pillows. I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary non-alcoholic drink in the mini-bar - a thoughtful gesture I had never encountered in Europe before. Even the toiletries provided showed the level of care they put into every aspect. This stay will forever stand out as one filled with personal touches, love, and deep appreciation.

nothing ! just be aware that the property is on top of bars, and has no hot breakfast options. However - the soundproofing is excellent, so noise is a minimum, and so many great places for breakfast near it's actually a bonus as it makes you explore them.

Excellent location and the staff were very helpful.

There wasn't reception staff after 5 pm on the days we were there which was tricky because we needed someone there to receive our luggage which didn't arrive with our flight. As we were on a tour we were stressing we wouldn't be back before 5pm to receive our suitcases.

I loved the location,staff,the building is bit old but in excellent conditions and very clean. Staff very helpful and welcoming. The bedroom very clean,pretty and very comfy! I stayed in a single room. I am very grateful with the whole reception team and the restaurant one too. Many thanks to Mr.Vedansh,Tiwari.

Rooms are small, but this is expected from a city hotel so not bad. Slightly misleading description because when you select the room it says there is a terrace and it doesn't specify that it's the restaurant terrace, we thought it meant the room had a terrace. Room on first floor right above the bar, on weekend nights sounds like you're living above a nightclub. The bass travels through the walls loudly.

The location is delightful!

The bathroom is a hot mess. the shower door was never sealed at the bottom or down the sides. take a shower and flood the entire tiny bathroom. I tried to tell the property manager about it but she just said ”oh, sorry”. that is the owners to fix.

It’s a shame I don’t remember the person who checked us in and met us at the entrance a couple of times during our stay. She has to be the most wonderful and welcoming person I have meet in my life. Not only she made the entire check in process smooth, she even helped us out with small things over the course of our stay. With that warm smile, spunky attitude, she made us feel at home within seconds. We came to the hotel after 10 days of hectic scenes in Germany and immediately felt relaxed and had the best sleep.

The welcome and friendliness of the staff was excellent. Access to your floor and room is only possible with the room key, which is nice and safe. The rooms were very clean and bright and equipped with a coffee machine. The bathrooms in the Superior Kings were modern and well equipped with hand and shower gel, a hair dryer, bathrobes and slippers, a toothbrush and nail kit. The hotel is really well located in the centre of the old town, with plenty of bars, restaurants, shops and museums in walking distance, whilst only being a short walk from the train station too.

Everything was great! The beds are super comfortable. The staff is polite and helpful. A lot of awsome restaurants nearby.

at the weekends and on Friday it might be a little bit noisy because of the location.
