Hotel Eastside (free parking garage)

Let’s start from the day I booked and reached out to the receptionists, they have been more than helpful and super friendly (something you don’t get to experience very often in other hotels). On my day of arrival (I had a very late check-in), everything worked and was prepared for pick-up (key in key box with code). The room and the bathroom were bigger than expected. Very clean and comfortable bed. I had a room on the street side. It wasn’t too noise, but for a summer day I would recommend you to book a room on the other side. Breakfast was very delicious, a variety of everything (bread, jam, cheese, ham, cornflakes, oat-meal, Jogurt, fruits, fresh juice,…) and not to forget a fresh brewed coffee. Since I had to work on Monday, I was able to take my breakfast upstairs. I had the pleasure to meet the receptionists in-person, each of them have been kind, warm and friendly. Not to forget always a smile on their face. Overall it’s a great hotel with amazing service that you get for a decent price.

It has a good size room, modern facilities, and free parking garage. Checking in to the hotel is easy. We do it by ourselves. Breakfast is good as well.

It’s next to busy street and the noise is loud. Breakfast is from 6:30-9 on work day. We are on vacation and didn’t want to get up that early. We arrived on Sunday. TV didn’t work and no one responded even though they knew about it. It’s not worth our time since it has no channel that they advertise on pamphlet.

Good value for money, underground parking with access to room via elevator. Nice, welcoming staff, we arrived earier and we were given the room. Location is good for visiting nearby cities and easy access to higway. We received local transportation card for free.

We stayed for 5 nights and had the feeling of more like a transit hotel, so we recommend max 2-3 night stay. Breakfast is rather poor. Towels in the room have an intense use look

Front desk staff (with the hard to pronounce name) was OUTSTANDING!!! Restaurant was wonderful… definitely underused. Food and wine were great. So nice to get real Indian food in rural Switzerland.

The only thing that could have been better would be to have control of temperature in the room. It was very, very hot and hard to sleep.

I travelled with my family. Staffs are great and very friendly. Free parking place is excellent and spacious. Breakfast is good. Room is large and has all the required facilities. The booking experience (via booking.com) was flawless. The hotel responded to all my requests very quickly. A bus stop is just in front of the hotel. With the free public transport ticket (provided) one can make best use of it.

Styled modern furniture, comfortable bed, spacy room. Great value/price rate for this country. 15 min by car to the lake Bodensee with nice coffee. You could buy cherry or other fruits / vegetables on your way to the lake directly from the garden owners.

Free parking, friendly staff, very good price quality ratio. Really appreciate that my 1.5 yrs old also received evening milk from the restaurant staff.

Once in a while would be great if the cleaning personnel would clean the child seat as well.

The room was large and clean, the service was very helpful and friendly. We've enjoyed the basic breakfast as well.

The room doesn't have an aircon. It's ok because the windows can be opened but due to location it sometimes gets loud because of the traffic at the nearby street (only with the window open)

Great quality for the price - plus parking was free and I got free bus ticket that took me to city centre in 10 mins. Rooms really spacious, clean and nice. I really liked my stay! Breakfast was included! Go for it guys! Forget all other pricey options in St. Gallen. My stay was great. Thank you to the team of the hotel for this experience.

Clean relatively well equipped rooms. Very friendly personell and a great parking spot at the own hotel garage.

The hotel is directly at the main road, which made it a little bit complicated to open windows, but it wasnt nothing tragical.
