Hotel Restaurant La Furca

Room was excellent. Great view. Great bed. All around great! Breakfast was everything you could ask for. And lots of it, including eggs. Restaurant was very clean, good room between tables and was very comfortable! The hosts and their staff were very accommodating and helpful. We only stayed one night at the hotel but have back each day of our stay so far to eat in the restaurant,

I really don’t have anything I didn’t like, Maybe no hand cream in the bathroom. Although there was shower gel and such! But overall, nothing caused me any concerns.

I would give them an 11 out of 10 rating if I could. location is superb. the breakfast was perfect for skiing. I read reviews that it wasn’t a huge variety, but everything offered was local produce or homemade. the Bircher muesli knocks it out of the park. the rooms are spacious and very clean. the best thing about the hotel is the staff. incredibly attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. very family friendly setting. they were very forthcoming and super friendly. if you look for dining options in disentis I would definitely recommend eating at the hotel. we tried different restaurants in town but the hotels own restaurant has by far the best bang for your buck. very tasty food, plentiful and fairly priced. we will certainly come back here!!!

The family who run the hotel were all welcoming, friendly, helpful and attentive and we had a lovely stay. The location was perfect for us with a balcony overlooking the railway station and beautiful views across the valley, chairs and table provided too, Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean with a good shower and comfortable bed. We enjoyed our breakfast and evening meal in the restaurant ( and our chats ) thank you, hope to see you again soon.

We had a nice weekend spent in La Furca hotel in July. The hotel is located close to the railway station but sound proofing is very good. It is a family own business. People who run the hotel are extremely hospitable and nice. We were traveling with 1 y.o. daughter and asked for a cot that was offered to us for free (not always the case!) Breakfast is perfect - not too many options but all are tasty! My wife specifically noted how good traditional Birchermüsli are. Croissants were freshly baked in the mornings, coffee is good! Parking is available in front of the hotel. Room 21 is spacious, with a balcony, where we could spend time, when our daughter was sleeping. If you wish to try Swiss cuisine (even from Graubünden), La Furca restaurant is open daily :)

There is no AC in the rooms but I would not say it was hot inside, even if it was +30 outside.

Hotel La Furca, was just fab, the staff were all amazing and most helpful. Bisera, Albin & Edin were all very friendly and amazing hosts. Good value for this area of Switzerland. I'll stay again should I ever come back.

Nothing, all worked extremely well.

The hotel is a stone's throw from the train station of Disentis. This was the main reason I chose it: we were arriving by train and leaving with it as well, so it was convenient. But this hotel has so much more than convenience! We had a balcony overviewing the train station (which is quiet enough not to be disturbing, but busy enough to be thoroughly entertaining), as well as the astonishing surrounding mountains. The en suite shower and toilet were cleverly hidden away in such a way to not waste any space in the rest of the room. Stylishly modern all of it. Breakfast was great: various juices, cereals and dairies, cheeses, eggs and bread/croissants, everything you could possibly hope for at this price point.

The only negative point I could imagine is that as far as I could see there is no elevator. But really, this hotel has no downside to speak of.

This hotel is what we reckon as typical German, or maybe Swiss-German though it is in the Retro-Roman speaking area. Clean and plain, with separate sheets on the twin-bed and with few decoration that however adds hardly anything personal to the place. So when you wake up, you realize: you are in a hotel. Still you sleep well here and the view from your balcony towards the Alps is great. The room is large enough with a desk and one extra relax seat. A good shower, enough space to store your belongings, everything well-lit and serviced (cleaned) when you are out walking in the mountains. Service is also good when it comes to breakfast, information or dinner. And of-course the daily refreshment of bottled water. Food and drinks are okay in this hotel. La Furca is, just as Disentis itself, not a place of joy or turbulence, but a good choice for spending a couple of days in Graubünden with many ways of going around and enjoying the area (lifts, trains, busses, etc.). Oh and another plus: the hotel is just 25 steps away from the railway station and you don't hear any noise from it

Like mentioned before, the style of the hotel is plain and impersonal. The bed sheets and the room can be a bit warm and opening the window is not exactly an option with the trains going just below the hotel.

Excellent friendly and informative host, even on a Monday when the Hotel Restaurant is closed gives options where to eat, history of Abbey and directions. View from balcony over the station to the valley and hills lovely

Only thing that could move comfort to exceptional would be to supply extra pillows, even if stored in wardrobe just for those who appreciate two pillows

very supportive staff, trying to go the extra mile in order to help. the hotel met our expectation giving the fact that Disentis is a very tiny town located away from major cities in Switzerland. the restaurant was very good<

no lift (our room was on the third floor), room was a little cold.

The hotel provided free parking. The room is mordernly renovated and very clean. Very friendly staff and basic breakfast. The hotel located right next to train station and easily accessible.

Slightly early check out (10.00) to my personal liking.
