Hôtel de la Forêt

I got a room with a balcony and even though it was winter and I was on the slopes during the day, I enjoyed it very much. In the afternoon it was flooded with light. The view is incredible. The room is clean, neat and cozy. Breakfast buffet is good, especially the croissants!

The location is on a curve in a street with no sidewalk. So the access to the hotel looks more like a cave than a welcoming entrance. It is somewhat risky to get to the sidewalk on the other the other side of the street due to the curve.

The view from my room was incredible ! The team there seemed friendly and accommodating, there was a large group of guests that needed to leave early so they moved up their breakfast times. The breakfast was very nice and fresh

I would of loved to have the option of almond milk or something for lactose intolerant people, but then again, I never expressed this need to them. The decoration of the room is also not incredible but it is clean and you are more focused on the view or sleeping anyway.

Very comfy, clean rooms. Excellent value for money. The rooms are very well sound proofed, so it was nice and quiet. I wish I could have arrived earlier to be able to try out their SPA and restaurant.

There weren't many parking places. The reception closes at 9pm on a Sunday. I arrived at 7:30pm and it was already to late to order a snack. I also left before breakfast was served. There was a fridge with yogurts and a coffee machine available, but now packed breakfast option.

The hotel location is very close to the ski lift (you can take a bus (2 stops) or walk (10 min) Bed is comfortable and the room was clean and have a nice balcony with mountain views. The staff was friendly and welcoming.

Rooms are rather small. Double bed is made of two matrasses instead of a single bog one, so there's a small gap between them. Breakfast is rather simple.

Nice breakfast, amazing views, and really close to a bus stop where you can get a free shuttle to the 3 main lifts. Guests can buy special prices ski tickets, 59 francs. Very attentive service in the reception and at the restaurant.

The double bed is actually two single beds placed next to each other. I don't think the ski room is heated.

Large room for 3 people (in the back, quiet but without view); lots of storage space for clothing in the room. Good croissants and fresh cheese at the breakfast buffet.

Not soundproof, neighboring rooms well audible (voices, footsteps). Breakfast buffet abundant but coffee not freshly done (big metal container) and weak, fruit salad from a can. Mattress not great, hammock effect. Parking on premises very limited, more parking ca. 300 m walk down the street.

The staff were fabulous.. really friendly and helpful despite being so constantly busy. View from rooms to mountains was good. Restaurant food was good. Hotel near ski bus and short ride to Violett lift.

First floor balconies open and not private.

I loved the restaurant; the food was delicious. The hotel is very cozy and spacious. It looks like a big cabin with all the wood, sofas, and a piano. I loved the gym and sauna which is lovely after a ski day!

Kindness of staff, kindness of staff and kindness of staff 😄🥂 spotless room and premises. Very comfortable. The basics are provided. And superb view from south facing rooms. And a travel back in time to the '80s 😄👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Staff was extremely nice and helpful. They gave me home made food even after I arrived late for a running competition and were overall really nice. Bed was nice, mountain view was excellent.

Breakfast was a bit generic, overall good but kind of expected something more
