We came across this hotel by chance since we got late coming down from Colombo due to traffic. Even though it was late at night we still got a very warm welcome from the staff, we even got to light the oil lamp as a traditional welcome and a nice welcome drink. Since it was late we ordered food from the restaurant downstairs. They served us quickly knowing we were tired. The food was heavenly. The restaurant staff was very happy to serve us even at late night. The room was as expected in the photos very clean with a nice aroma and the bedding was amazing. We slept extremely well and feasted on a fabulous breakfast the next day. The outdoor dining is nice in the morning with the lake view. All the staff were all smiles throughout our stay. I was extremely happy that we were attended to by everyone there. I’m glad we came here all of a sudden with no prior plans but it was a fantastic experience.

Beautiful little hotel in a lovely location. Staff were very friendly and the breakfasts were delicious and more than adequate, with good choices. Shower was very good and bed very comfortable. We had a Suite with Lake View which was amazing with the view of the lake and across it. We were visited by a group of monkeys on our balcony one morning which was a delightful bonus. Not close to a lot of eating places but main town was only a short tuk tuk ride away and there were 2 or 3 eateries within walking distance that were good.

WiFi was dreadfully slow and almost non existent. There was only 1 television channel we could watch and programs were in Sri Lankan. Facilities mentioned a bathrobe and slippers but there were non in room and when I questioned staff about that they said no.

Great location nearby Kandy city centre and Temple of the Tooth. Very helpful staff. Fully equipped room and bathroom with an amazing view on Kandy Lake.

The WiFi connection was poor

Big, well equipped room with a view of the lake. Easy walk to the Temple of the Tooth. Wifi was very good, among the best we had in Sri Lanka. The food at the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. The room was a bit more expensive than many of the other places we've stayed in Sri Lanka, but it was well worth it and an incredible value.

The couch in the room wasn't the most comfortable, but the bed was great. The AC leaked water onto the desk. If we hadn't packed our bag the night before, it could have been a catastrophe, but thankfully nothing was damaged.

This was my first time in the Kandy city and this hotel gave me a lasting impression . From the warm welcome to the cozy room with the fantastic bed all exceeded my expectations. Room was clean there was a good fragrance all over the hotel. The breakfast was brilliant. Definitely a must try. Everybody contributed to making my stay a memorable one. Will definitely be back for the beautiful views and the exceptional hospitality.

The property is beautiful. i stayed in the room with the balcony overlooking the lake and it was incredible. The room is so cute, with the most comfortable bed! all the staff are so kind, welcoming and helpful. The food in the restaurant downstairs is also delicious! I had French toast and fruits. Everyone working there is so unbelievably kind. I fell unwell during my trip and had to go to hospital, and they even came to visit and give their well wishes with a food parcel. Will definitely stay again next time I am in Sri Lanka

The hotel had a cozy atmosphere when we first entered and right throughout our stay exceeded our expectations. Dinner was absolutely amazing the F&B staff was very attentive looking into all our needs there is a nice outdoor dining space where we loved. Breakfast had a massive variety splendid. Rooms was big and really comfortable especially the bed. Would definitely be a joy to come back to this lovely hotel.

The hotel was well kept and attended to and it exceeded our expectations. It was our wedding anniversary and I just mentioned it to the hotel before checking in and they had done a beautiful decoration in our room with a lovely cake for us with some cookies. We later had dinner at the restaurant which was a beautiful candle lit dinner. I loved it and the food was amazing.It was an amazing stay.

.The hotel is beautiful..located just around a 10 minute walk along the lake from Temple of the Tooth basically out of the hotel and turn right and keep walking and you cannot miss it! The staff we think went completely above and beyond for us on our stay.. We got scammed down at the market and when we told the Manager /Owner he was clearly upset that this had happened to us in Kandy. He helped us out by ringing the police etc. Also the restaurant man Neval also was lovely and friendly and even came to see if we were OK when he saw us on his way home in town! All staff are fantastic and a credit to the hotel. The hotel itself is just gorgeous.. Very well decorated. Our room was very luxurious. A massive bed looking out to the lake which was the most comfortable bed we have slept in whilst we have been here. The views from our huge verandah attached are spectacular also. We had a delicious breakfast also..fresh fruit.. Fresh juice.. Toast..omelette.. Cakes and jams and fresh tea. Gorgeous. If we are ever in Kandy again we will definitely be back! Thank you to all staff for helping us and making our stay so much more memorable.
