Clock Inn Colombo

During my recent stay at this hotel, I found some aspects to be satisfactory, while others left much to be desired. One notable positive was the hotel's convenient location in Colombo, making it easy to access downtown and explore the city's attractions. My stay at this hotel was delightful. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked properly, which was appreciated considering the hot weather in Colombo. The exceptional breakfast, convenient location, and cleanliness of the room and bathrooms left me with a positive impression. If you're looking for a well-located and reasonably comfortable place to stay in Colombo, I can confidently recommend this hotel for your visit.

The hotel could improve the overall experience by ensuring that all essential toiletries are provided in the room. This simple addition would go a long way in enhancing guest satisfaction.

The size of the room and the facilities in general. The location was ideally situated, with a small tuk stand nearby in case of emergencies. Safe premises, especially during night times. Most staff members working here were well-accommodating.

The breakfast variety was lackluster, and the utensils and dishes provided were not clean. Some staff members had a biased treatment toward locals (in comparison to foreigners), which was rather disappointing.

Breakfast - It was prepared well, but I am glad if there were few options to choose. Room - The cleanliness of the room was in a good level, but not the bathroom. Location - Situated in a strategical place in Colombo, and it was good too.

Bathrooms. They could have cleaned them. I don't think they are cleaned daily. Some of them were abandon. If they could repair them and start to use them, a better experience can be offered.

Loved the location, property and staff. Durden hospital was very close by and good for quick RTPCR test . Definitely one of the best hostels in Colombo.

Bathroom not the cleanest but the staff is quite responsive and cleans it on request. The size of the shower room and toilets is quite small. Not enough hooks to hang clothes either.

Good value for the price. Nothing in particular to complain about the service and the facilities. Very helpful staff overall in various ways, thank you guys for your hospitality (Dharshan, Ashok, Yuganthan, Kugan and Niroshan). I wish there was a lift, it would have added more comfort for the gusts 😉.

Having a lift would be great.. I would prefer more breakfast choices.

The staff are lovely and the location is great. Everything is clean, though a couple things are on the ever-so-slightly dingy or stained side, but that is to be expected because it is a hostel - and I should emphasize that everything was very clean! The bathroom in our room was especially lovely, with a large shower. The staff are very friendly and kind and not intrusive at all, but helpful.

The breakfast was not good - some rice, cheap white bread, and no real coffee. Basically a lot of cheap refined flour, so if you're a food snob or watching your health, stay away. I was especially horrified that they didn't have real coffee, just that nasty Nescafe garbage. But there are plenty of places nearby for a good breakfast, so don't let that deter you from staying here!

Good location, good breakfast, really helpful staff. they stored a bag for us for 10 days too and didn’t charge us for this even though they originally said we would be charged. great central area for coffees and lounging

Room was fine, lounge area was social, chess, TV, big cushions to hang out in.

Breakfast was ok, not great for growing teenagers, pretty basic. Doors and walls were quite thin, so heard lots of corridor movement. Shower was cold to luke warm.
