NH Zamora Palacio del Duero

Lovely location next to beautiful historical building. Staff very helpful, huge single beds in twin room. Easy walk into the centre. Parking for hotel is in an underground garage with a 2 metre height restriction but free street parking nearby if you can find it. We booked this room as could not find a campsite near to the town. Very much enjoyed the luxury of the large comfortable, clean, modern room.

Tea and coffee making facility would have been nice but not a deal breaker!

the room was lovely with a nice little terrace, fluffy bathrobes and wonderful coffee machine.

it was all good apart from we didn't realise we could have had a cooked breakfast until we sat down with our plates from the buffet . ( the waitress should make people aware of this on entering)The coffee machine ran out of water twice which put us off so we had a coffee between us. In saying this the quality of the breakfast produce was outstanding and not to be missed. Mercedes the receptionist was so helpful and extremely professional. if we ever return to the wonderful city of Zamora we would definitely return to this great hotel.

excellent location on edge of old city with parking so didn’t have to do battle with narrow unfamiliar streets. stylish conversion to create contemporary feel hotel. comfortable, and helpful reception staff. we enjoyed the balcony of our superior double.

dodgy keycards that had to be renewed more than once and the scrum at breakfast on Sunday morning.

The breakfast was excellent, especially being able to order eggs. The room was comfortable but perhaps a little small. The location was nicely out of the way but still close enough to the plaza mayor.

On the Saturday night there was a rental event in the party room at the hotel and the special events guests upon leaving were extremely noisy with yelling and loud conversations, honking car horns and really disrespecting the hotel guests and the neighbourhood late night/ very early morning.

Twin beds together but made up as twins rather than with a double topper and sheet.

Excellent selection on the buffet breakfast, all fresh ingredients plus cooked breakfast option also really well prepared. Lovely well appointed room . Good facilities and spotless

I was happy with all aspects of our stay

This is an excellent hotel in an interesting building. The room was large, well equipped and laid out The bed was comfortable and the hotel restaurant offers good food at reasonable prices. The staff were friendly and helpful and the charming river bank walk of the Duero is a very short walk away.

There is nothing not to like about this hotel.

A smart hotel on the edge of the centre. It's actually a fascinating building. beautiful chapel immediately outside. Secure parking is available. The beautiful town is an easy walk. Breakfast was OK with Covid restrictions on the service.

The rooms and common areas are showing their age and rather charmless. The service is efficient but difficult to be friendly. The building's great history is difficult to find unless you explore. It would be great to stay inside the old town centre.

great hotel in a fabulous location, all staff were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. gluten-free options for breakfast were first class and we were very grateful that all the staff spoke English as our Spanish is non-existent. would highly recommend and look forward to visiting again xx

Everything was perfect for us I rate the hotel more than 4 star almost 5 star Close to river for a qiuet evening walk. Small bars very close but better to brave the hill up to Plaza Mayor or for just a quick tapas or drink Plaza Santa Lucia. Hotel is close to an old monastary which gives it a nice abiance. The bar and lounge area are in the old converted factory which is also unusual and pleasant

Due to Covid restrictions I guess there is no kettle or tea/coffee facilities in room
