Avent Verahotel

We liked absolutely everything about this hotel. The staff so friendly and courteous. The room was more like a suite, it was huge. Luxurious bathroom, large kingsize bed, beautiful bedding, two comfy armchairs, coffee table, lovely Mountain View’s. Parking available on site free, a huge swimming pool to ourselves. What is there not to like and the breakfast was to die for. No Buffett , but personal service, with a menu so varied and the food was cooked to order, and personally served to you. Loved it.

Really there was nothing to dislike, a little out of the way for us when staying in Mojacar, Vera etc, but we’ll certainly stay there again. Some people might not like that it’s only B&B, and your evening meal is off site and you have to drive, but the price reflects that. Very competitive.

Excellent bed, excellent breakfast, great shower, immaculately clean. All the staff we met were super friendly/helpful.

No coffee facilities in room, though they were available during bar closed times in the lobby. Pool was shut until June - it would have been nice to spend a couple of hours lounging down there even without access to the pool itself. Balcony/terrace felt a bit claustrophobic and could have done with a pot plant or something on the wall. The bar didn't seem to be open at any stage, (though we didn't need it).

Very clean hotel and friendly and helpful staff at all times. Could not fault the absolutely delicious and beautifully presented breakfast. They serve the best coffee in Spain.

Wish the restaurant could open during the day for a coffee or drink of sorts and maybe some tapas. My husband has a disability in that he cannot stand for long without holding on for support and was therefore unable to shower as no handle's to hold onto in the shower. I had to stand him on a towel in front of the hand wash basin so he could hold onto the handle at the basin and wash him down which was not ideal at all. A kettle in the room would be most helpful for a cup of tea. Otherwise a wonderful stay and will return.

Really nice room, huge bed, staff are really helpful and friendly. Breakfast cooked to order.

Had a room at the front of the hotel. Usually have one at the rear of the hotel. The rooms at the rear have a nice balcony with table and chairs, the ones at the front do not and there is a fair amount of traffic noise if you open the window. The rear bedrooms are quieter and I think the room and bathroom is bigger than the ones at the front.

As usual everything perfect,so clean staff professional & friendly, breakfast choice amazing we stay here frequently through out the year..

Not the Hotels fault but some very inconsiderate Guests, making noise esp retuning from there night out,banging on Doors, talking rather loudly & slamming Doors while other Guests are trying to sleep peacefully. ..

Hotel was immaculate, no worries about hygiene at all and the communal areas are modern and well decorated. The room was a little bit tired but still pleasant, functional and clean. The bed in the room was huge and very comfortable. I normally have trouble sleeping in hotel beds but this was so good I was able to get a good night's sleep. Breakfast was very good and the staff were very helpful and polite.

No view from the bedroom window or terrace unless you peak out over the wall. But the location is more for practicality than views so not a concern.

Staff and cleanliness are second to none. A superb 2 night stay. Breakfast was delicious, great choice and well staffed and presented.

Low season so no bar or restaurant facilities were operating. Therefore, a 20 min walk to choice of one restaurant open. Not the hotels fault.

Really pleasant surprise. Very nice staff throughout, large comfortable bedroom. Breakfast was individually served very tasty. Location was perfect for our needs.

While we knew it wasn't available, a restaurant for am evening meal (especially if it was to be as good as breakfast) would have made our stay perfect

If you are young or you like a walk in the sun it's about 30mins from the estación de autobuses de Vera, pretty much at the end of the town on the way to Garrucha/ Mojácar. The room was small with a small basic terrace the bed was great. There is a piscina which was just randomly down a side street past a petrol station. But once down there the pool was good. Breakfast was excellent, make sure you get the breakfast, and the staff are very nice. There are a couple of supermarkets and cafes a short walk away. One downside is there are not many places to eat in Vera it is a small town. I would only advise this place for one night if you are on the way to Almería. It is nicer than Lorca. If you are traveling from Murcia to Almería this is a good place to stop. There is a 24h shop with lots of cold beers and things so you can always stock up at night.

It's miles out of town, and there is no one at the pool you just wonder down there past the petrol and organise it yourself. No lifeguard or anything, but if you like a quiet swim it's a nice pool. It seems like once it was a busy hotel and with covid we were the only folk there. Some bloke at the local cafe/bar told me I can't drink beers there unless I buy dinner. Obviously doesn't want my money. There are a lot of flies in Vera.

The hotel was welcoming. everywhere was spotless. All the rooms are on the first floor; the rooms were comfortable, clean and smelt lovely. There were two bottles of complimentary water in the room for you to use. The breakfasts were delicious with plenty of choice. Great coffee. The waitresses were very efficient and friendly; food was served quickly. There is free parking outside the hotel.
