Hotel Soho Boutique Palacio San Gabriel

This property is lovely! The hotel is well located to Ronda centre and it is very clean, and quiet. The cleaning staff were always friendly and kind as were the two women who worked in the front office. Unfortunately, we didn’t get their names but they were extremely helpful and accommodating. We appreciated their lovely smiles and greetings. Our only recommendation might be to offer the 2 male staff who work in the front office a higher level of guest services training as they were much less friendly and were often busy on their phones/computer and were less than attentive in acknowledging guests.

The property is lovely!

The location of the hotel is fantastic! In the heart of the old town of Ronda and a very short walk (max 5 minutes) to the new bridge which crosses into the new town where there are many bars/tapas bars. The hotel is beautiful and full of character, our room had everything we needed including excellent air conditioning (much needed in the August heat). We were given a warm welcome including some guidance on where to find some of the best places to eat. The parking is around a 5 minute walk away and we were given clear instructions on how to find it and benefited from a discounted rate as a hotel resident.

Finding the hotel and parking is easy, but the narrow streets may be intimidating for non-confident drivers, but with care this should not stop you choosing the hotel!

Traditional villa in an amazing town, public areas very pretty and atmospheric. Great location to visit all the area had to offer on foot. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Guidance to nearby parking explained perfectly. The hotel is in a very scenic, traditional area of this lovely town.

Bathroom was dated, but in fairness this was reflected in the price. There were no public spaces that we personally felt we wanted to relax in, despite the charming traditional atmosphere, but other guests did use a little courtyard. So this could just be our personal taste

The hotel is right in the old part of the town, so, a perfect location to start exploring. I really liked the historical style of the hotel, it's very charming and there are many lovely details. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Our room was one of the smaller ones but we managed (had two large suitcases with us). Breakfast was good too. Outdoor parking is available a few minutes from the hotel with enough space. The entrance to the parking is a bit narrow, but manageable, also with a larger SUV. I can recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Old buildings have it's small problems. But I have nothing to complain about.

Very friendly and helpful Lady's at the Reception 👍 Location is perfect . Breakfast is very tasty 😋, great tasty Coffee ☕ Remi the waitress at Breakfast , is a gem 💎. She was very busy but found the time to ask us , if we need anything else. Remi would be a reason to return . Room size was OK for one night . Hotel was clean and the Location is very quiet at night .

Around the sink and the shower was a lot of mold . Not enough space in the Bathroom to put personal items 😒

The location was fantastic, and the staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. They were the best part of the experience. Parking was straightforward once they give you the cards to use for the lot, and the hotel and the room were both quite charming and beautifully decorated. We had a window seat with a view of the courtyard which was so lovely. A small elevator was very useful. They also were great and held our luggage until check-in.

Wifi wasn't great, and the breakfast was nice but a little overpriced if you aren't ordering from the kitchen. Shower space could be updated and improved.

The hotel was very traditionally and tastefully styled. The staff were friendly and helpful. I mixed up my dates and booked a day too early. When I didn't show up, they telephoned and changed my booking. Then, they upgraded our room to a junior suite! Discounted car parking is close by and a delightful walk through the old town. The hotel is a short walk to the town. You cross the famous bridge to get there. Most definitely recommended.

We had a lovely stay in Ronda and this hotel was in a stunning location. We had requested twin rooms which they had not realised but they were able to change us to a boutique twin room. It was very nice with character and even had a little balcony. We did not see the cinema room til checking out and that would have been fun to use! The hotel reception staff were extremely helpful and made the hotel that bit more special. It was the most expensive of the 4 hotels we booked but we felt it was worth it for a 1 night experience of Ronda. The Spanish ladies servicing breakfast were very willing and it was nice to hear all the guests attempting to discuss the choices in Spanish!

It was disappointing there were no toiletries, we had even had some in the hostel we stayed the night before - but as travelling by bus and foot we did not bring any and I was already in the shower when I realised I could not wash my hair. I would have expected a 4* hotel to have some toiletries in the room automatically.

The hotel location is excellent, near the major sites, yet in a quiet street. The parking is at a very reasonable distance. The hotel building has lots of character, is charming and elegantly decorated. There was even a small theatre room available to watch classical movies. The staff is very friendly and helpful with orientations. The room was spacious, had coffee-making machine and a mini-bar. Our room had a small balcony, overlooking the inner courtyard. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast varied and tasty.

Lovely old hotel, full of character, with very good staff. Great location in the centre of Ronda, parking can be tricky but they have a good deal with a local car park. We had an amazing suite, with antique furniture, a very reasonably priced minibar and coffee machine. The continental breakfast was very good, lots of choice, and you could also have a cooked one if you preferred. We wished we'd booked more nights, so we will be back.
