Molino Del Santo

Fabulous place, beautiful location, food was fabulous, buffet breakfast plentiful and lovely (toaster was a bit hit and miss, some mornings worked perfectly, others took ages to toast!). Although everything is good, the management and staff were fabulous. Friendly, engaging, knowledgable about the area and nothing was too much trouble. Close to some amazing places, caves, Ronda (train is a short walk away), Setenil de las Bodegas, vineyards, olive groves, mountains, local tapas and restaurant.

As much as everything was really lovely and comfortable, I do think that a room spruce up is a bit overdue However given the challenges over the last few years, I understand it may not be top of the priority list.

This was most certainly one of the best places I have ever stayed in. It is an old mill house reconstructed for accomodation but you can still see the incredible old mechanisms. Very clean, super beautiful inside as well as the outside. Relaxing by the pool is just a must. Dining next to the stream of water is just as romantic as it gets. If you enjoy tranquillity and peace, this is the place to be...

The beds are short with soft matrases, double bed has one french sheet instead of two single sheets. This place is really hidden, si I dont think its accesable by anything but a car, but that is what it makes so perfect I would say.

From the moment we arrived, I could feel all the tension from the day just dissipate. We were greeted with a smile and a complementary glass of wine. We had a nice chat with the new manager of the hotel. We were shown to our rooms. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed including a small refrigerator for cold drinks. We enjoyed a lovely lunch at the restaurant. Our waiter Victor was really fun and light. He made us feel welcome and made sure we had all the food we could possibly eat. So yummy. We enjoyed a dip in the pool and a leisurely rest on a sunbed. Everything was idyllic. Thanks for a lovely get away with friends.

Beautiful grounds, beautiful surroundings, very comfortable beds & great balcony. Lovely walks nearby, close to the train station. Peaceful & relaxing. Wonderful staff. Pool area was lovely. Perfectly situated by the stream.

Breakfast was ridiculously expensive- there's a restaurant near the train station where you can have breakfast instead. We had dinner at the hotel but we didn't particularly like the menu and found it hard to choose. The food was OK, the desserts were quite disappointing. However, the staff were lovely and the setting unbeatable as we ate next to the stream.

Breakfast was perfect and well presented The location was delightful and beautifully maintained , the staff were cheerful and attentive. The room was kept clean and comfortable. The menu was interesting and the food very good. It was a relaxing and calming environment to totally unwind with delightful countryside walks and spectacular views.

Great restaurant with both set menu and a la carte - super food! Breakfast included which was very good. Terrific staff. Really quiet property in beautiful setting,15 minutes drive from Ronda and other white villages within 30-45 minutes by car

Booking process but confusing - double vs twin -twin doesn’t necessarily mean two separate beds apart - it can mean super king

Excellent hotel in a village near Ronda. Large and tasty breakfasts included in rate. Superior 3-course dinners offered to guests. Lovely pool with plenty of space to soak up Spain’s non-stop sun. Most guests were English speakers so staff were proficient in the language.

My wife, who is very sensitive to odours, found our room overly perfumed. Perhaps a switch to perfume-free cleansers and detergents would correct that.

Molina del Santo is just on the edge of a small village hidden among a beautiful property next to the river. The units and pool are nestled among the gardens and pathways making it feel very private. We loved our dinner at the on site restaurant with Victor taking great care of us. It was our favourite meal of the trip with excellent food, great service and a wonderful setting on the terrace beside the river.

The place is gorgeous, beautiful surroundings, peaceful and calm, really great if you are coming from the busy and loud coast or any of the big cities. Staff is amazing, they make you feel immediately at home. Restaurant is absolutely 10 stars, we loved all foods we tried and they also offered a great kids menu. We will definitely come back to this hotel.

We were here for our 30th anniversary and it was a genuinely lovely and romantic place. The hillside setting and babbling stream (in early September after a stonking Summer) that runs by the restaurant is so peaceful. The setting, the food, the pool, the room, the wonderful staff were all unforgettable. It is not a luxurious 5 star hotel but it is uniquely personal and Spanish.
