Hotel Bodega el Moral

The availability of the staff to serve us dinner although we arrived at the hotel close to 10pm was great.

Breakfast was not that good but it was included in the price so in reality I can't complain. The location on Google maps points to the farm entrance. In the advertisement of the propertyIt it should be stated that after the stone gate, it is still necessary to travel about 2 km on a dirt road to reach the hotel and winery, unsuitable for sports cars, for example.

Beautiful location, easy to access. We were looking for a half way stop off with secure parking whilst travelling and found this by accident, it exceeded our expectations, dinner and wine were excellent a very chilled atmosphere. Excellent and friendly service. Even bought a few cases of wine to enjoy at home. Definitely return again

When reading the negative reviews on this establishment... We have to disagree, some of the negative review were far too harsh, it is what it is, it is a Spanish room in a Spanish bodega, its not modern build, it has character with modern conveniences and probably a lot of history, if walls could talk...

We liked everything the hotel is beautiful very clean and the food was good and so was the wine infact so good that we bought 4 bottles to take away.The comfort of the rooms ambiance of restaurants and the lovely pool also our dog was made to feel very welcome as we were.thank you we will return.

Just the long drive up to the hotel from main road up a very long unmade road wasn't prepared for it being such a long road.But it was worth it to stay at such a lovely peaceful place.

The grounds were spotless and so well kept. The staff was incredibly attentive and kind, always checking to make sure we had what we needed and were comfortable. We arrived hours before dinner and Diego made sure we were able to get some snacks and wine to tide us over. The rooms were incredibly clean and plenty of towels and pillows provided. The value for money was incredibly good! Last but not least their kitchen was amazing—fresh and delicious food.

The mattresses were perhaps a bit uncomfortable but totally appropriate for the price point, everything else was way above the price point.

The room, garden and restaurant were great. Lovely atmosphere. Great to have an aperitivo sitting in the courtyard or garden. My husband fell love with Dia - the dog.

The incredibly long drive from the main road to the Bodega is badly maintained with a lot of potholes which could easily be repaired. The breakfast is very monotonous. It would have been nice to have had a bit of variety/choice rather than the same croissant (very good) and toasted roll every morning. Choice of yoghurt maybe? The walls of the rooms are very thin and when our neighbours had the TV on it was impossible to sleep.

The hotel is very rural, off the beaten track and therefore ideal for a peaceful, getaway from it all break. The welcome was informative, we were shown around the hotel. Our room was spacious and the bathroom was huge. We visited in December and the room was warm. The dining room is large but homely. Good selection of food, great wine and all reasonably priced. Breakfast is served in a smaller room and was continental but lovely fresh croissants and rolls. Good coffee. There is a large pool, covered for the winter but would be wonderful to swim in the summer months.

No complaints at all. One observation. It would have been nice to sit and have a pre-dinner drink but we didn't see a bar.

Location was beautiful but very difficult to reach, more signs needed. Evening meal was excellent with good choice

On arrival our booking had not been noted and there was some confusion before a room was allocated, which I believe was the last room available. Unfortunately although the room was clean the bathroom had a bad smell from the drains . Also the shower head was broken.

Beautiful tranquil location amongst vineyards. The hotel is on one storey and the rooms all face an inner courtyard. Dinner was served on tables outside the rooms in this courtyard.

Very noisy. Spoiling the peaceful atmosphere, loud music was played all evening. Although the staff did turn down the volume slightly, it was still very annoying. Also every sound and every word from the adjacent room could be heard through the walls. The beds are hard as nails.

The peace & quiet was very welcome on our journey from the south of Spain to the north for our ferry home. All the staff and the owner were very friendly and the swimming pool was amazing. Reminded us of South Africa - dirt road and in the middle of nowhere amongst the vineyards.

We felt the evening meal could have been better. A couple of choices unavailable and the lamb chuletas were barely edible!

The wine and food were excellent. Lovely swimming pool. Superb country location.

No fault of Bodego el Moral but due to a power cut we did not start dinner until 10pm. Walls are not well soundproofed. I won't provide any more details about the couple next door!
