Hotel Ros Mary

This charming hotel truly exceeded our expectations. Bang in the centre of Ribadeo, it is surrounded by restaurants and bars. The Hotel restaurant looked very inviting so we actually had lunch and dinner there, it's conveniently open till midnight. We found parking close by even though the area is busy, and the hotel itself is on a pedestrian only zone. We were still allowed onto the street in the morning to put our luggage in the car. The room itself was comfortable, very clean and nicely decorated, with flagrance oils and all. Amenities were in excellent working order. The hotel seems to have been recently refurbished and everything was spik and span. We were graced with a small balcony onto the main pedestrian area. We had no trouble sleeping well at night. We arrived around an hour before check in, however the efficient young lady at reception , checked whether our room was ready and allowed us to do the check-in and go to our room. She was indeed courteous, kind and a real plus to the hotel. I am mortified to say I forgot her name. She was tall, fair and very pretty. I would stay again at this hotel again, because it is truly a gift in the lovely town of Ribadeo.

Very well located by the main square downtown. Lively neibourghood with caffees, restaurantes and shops. Bedrooms and bathroom are spacious, clean and modern. With a balcony to the street with caffees and a nice view over the town. Beds were comfortable and personnel very helpfull.

If I have to pick something would be the elevator, its pretty small. However, you have a nice, bright staircase, oposite to the elevator. It´s a 4 story bulding, if I remember well. Be aware that the street is a pedestrian street so difficult to reach the hotel by car. We parked ca 200m from the hotel.

We were really lucky to stay in this amazing hotel within our travel on the north of Spain! First of all - they have a room for 4 people, what is not easy to find in Spain. When you travel with the kids, this is very important. The room is comfortable, clean with a nice balcony, big bathroom. Second - they can make a paper for visiting La Playa de las Catedrales! We were travelling in high season, there were no tickets available on the web page, so the nice girl in the hotel made this paper without any problem. We were surprised and very very grateful to her, as we even didn’t expected to visit this beach! She also recommended the place for the parking! Third - the location in the city center of the beautiful small town. Good restaurants and cafes are near by and it is comfortable to walk around the city! Thanks to this place, we would love to stay there more!!!

This little hotel is in an unbeatable location right in the heart of the old area of Ribadeo. The room is a real hotel room - NOT a hostel-type which is often typical of its price range - shower gels and soaps which pleasantly surprised us. Super clean and modern, lovely bathroom en suite. At night we walked out of the hotel straight into the 'happening' tapas street - yet the room wasn't't at all noisy.

The reception experience was second to none, we were made to feel very welcome from the start which was important after a 31km hike that day. The lovely ladies working at the desk provided us with a lovely welcome as well with extra pillows! The hotel is very centrally located for the city’s restaurants and the camino del Norte.

Excellent and friendly staff welcome you to an awesome hotel right on the Camino and next to a church. You need not worry, the bells will not keep you up at night. Very comfortable bed in a very clean and awesome smelling room! I really enjoyed my stay here and it is close to restaurants and a grocery store.

We were amazed with our stay in the hotel (room, reception). The hotel is a 1 star hotel but it is better than a 5 stars. The room was very clean and warm. The toilet and shower the perfect size. The bed very comfortable. I am very happy I have booked this hotel. Thanks to the owner to be so welcoming.

The innkeepers are great! Did everything to make our stay pleasant. The property is in a great location, and it is exceptionally clean. We’ll stay there again, when we return to explore Ribadeo.

There is nothing not to like.

Everything - fantastic location in main square with great bars just outside. Staff were kind and helpful. The room looks lovely, spacious and bright, big bathroom. Desks and chairs and shelving for bags, smaller things but it made for a perfect stay. Muchas gracias!

Very clean and comfortable room. Great location right on the Camino. The staff is extremely attentive and provided me with excellent information about sites I wanted to visit. Would definitely stay here again.
