Gran Hotel Ciudad Del Sur

Very good hotel with good amenities Bit of an issue when we checked in, but was sorted out, so there no real problems Great swimming pool, and the room we had was huge with a massive, comfortable bed, and we still loads of space in the room. It is a bit out of the way and the only real restaurant you can walk to closes at 18:30 so we decided to eat at the hotel, this proved to be a good decision as the food was really good and was very reasonably priced, so much so we ate there the following night as well. All the staff, especially the waitress who served our dinner, were very polite and efficient.

Very helpful Reception staff who were more than willing to store my bicycle securely overnight. Our room at the front of the hotel had a great view of the Cádiz and Puerto Real bays. The hotel is spacious and open and has a cafeteria and a dining room where we had a good and well priced a la carte dinner and buffet style breakfast. The location is perfect for exploring the area from Conil through to Sanlucar de Barrameda.

This is a large, modern business hotel with plenty of free parking. Our room was a reasonable size and it was good to have use of a fridge and safe.

You really need a car to stay here as there is not much to be found in the surrounding area on foot. it’s a shame that the cafe didn’t serve food in the evenings, as sometimes you just want a snack and not a full restaurant meal.

Very easy access from the roads, so its pretty easy to find as well as to go in and out. It is spacious, clean and personnel is very kind.

Its a bit far to walk to town, where is not easy to park a car. If you are also going to drink you have to take a taxi. Good thing is that taxis are cheap enough for this not being a problem.

Breakfast was not the typical continental breakfast, it was a vast selection of Spanish treats, along with eggs, bacon, etc.,

We enjoyed our stay, hotel looks better in real life than on pictures. Room was spotlessly clean and we really enjoyed our stay. Hotel is close to Cadiz with free parking

The room was really large and clean. Also, the 2 meters matress was super comfortable and the water pressure was just perfect.

If you are looking forward to sleeping till late, this may not be your place. From around 8am the cleaning staff will ensure that you wake up with their doors slamming or their trolleys banging the walls as if these were bumper cars. Their screaming, loud voices or arguments will also be handy if what you want is to be shockingly awakened up. Their furniture dragging and/or slamming will also help for this, especially if they are in the next-door room.
