Very enthusiastic and well informed staff at the reception desk. Extensive breakfast with a freshly cooked egg dish of your choice. The restaurant has an excellent a la carte menu against reasonable prices. Cádiz is very easy to reach, 10 minute walk to the boat and in 30 minutes you are in the center of town. The last evening we were offered a free bottle of sparkling wine with chocolates and a 10% discount voucher for a next stay in one of their hotels. Appreciated!

It was a pity that only one or two other guests had diner in the restaurant. It is not a matter of quality or choice: the quality of the food is excellent and there is plenty of choice. Maybe the hotel should also offer half board to their guests?

Alegría Bodega Real is a beautiful caracteristic building, it's a nice experience just to be there. The room was wide and nice, the bed was good, and the breakfast outstanding. But the main experience is the way you are treated as a guest. The staff is not just friendly, but warm welcoming and pro-active in an impressive way. Travelling through Andalusia we did not feel as spoiled as we were in Alegría Bodega Real. It's way more luxury then you would expect for the price you pay. Thanks fantastic staff, you made our stay a very great one!

The extremely friendly reception and restaurant-staff and the very clean room every day !! Good elevator !! Parking ... and the lovely inner courtyard to have a drink . The excellent location near the railway-station and to be very well connected to Jerez , Cadiz and Seville . Also just a short and cheap taxi ride to have lunch @ Puerto Sherry . The restaurant offer nice food and drinks for a good price .

A very pleasant hotel, quiet and relaxing. The hotel is built in an old "Bodegas" wine cellars. With a beautiful court yard surrounded by stones arches and wooden roofs. The staffs are very friendly and polite. Rooms clean & comfortable. And the breakfast superb! One of the best breakfast I've ever had in a hotel. And I've been in many all around the world!! Sadly, I've been there just 2 nights, had love to stay for 2 weeks!!!

Less than 5 minutes walk from the railway station. Close to the town. The extremely warm welcome by the staff. This is mentioned in other reviews, which I thought were over the top, but quite the reverse. Very good value for money in March. We had an excellent late lunch in the courtyard. The bedroom is a good size but the bathroom is a bit tight with the bath, bidet etc

Great hotel in Andalusian style, friendly staff, big room, breakfast ok and exceptional: welcome drink and 1 bottle of Cava offered with a beautifully arranged plate of strawberries. Since its location is not right in center, it’s nicely quiet.

Bathtub leaked so that floor was soaked after a shower.

The welcome drink of naturally flavoured water upon arrival was especially welcome, as we had walked from the Cádiz ferry terminal. A really nice touch. Our third stay here was as good as the previous two, so thanks to all the friendly staff.

There were no negatives to our stay.

Very nicely renovated historic building. Beds are confortable. Breakfast is decent. There was a farewell bottle of complimentary champaigne in our room the day before the checkout. Location is good.

access to the underground garage is a bit complicated, but staff is extra helpful there.

private parking is a great pro! friendly stuff, good commodities, spacious room, we really enjoyed our stay, traditional but also modernly renovated! the restaurant is a prefect place to have a diner. very nice service and very delicious food!
