Occidental Playa de Palma

The all-inclusive option is great value for money, the food was great and variable during lunch and dinner each day with plenty of meat, seafood, and veggie options. The location is very close to the beach and sea. Palma is also easily reachable by public transport the bus stop is very close to the hotel. We had to check out early on our departure day and the hotel accommodated us with an early breakfast without hesitation.

It would be great to add a play area for children or a kids' room in the hotel. The water in the indoor pool could be warmer.

Very good location, not too far from Bierkönig, but quite. Very good food. Checkout is at 12:00.

food quality was very good, staff cares about you - complements to the 2 waiters in the restaurant very clean good location - <5 minutes walk to the beach close to bus stop that takes you to the airport or the city of Palma, quiet location and hotel

on the web it is stated there're 2 pools open whole year but in fact one of them was empty all inclusive formula is in fact a soft version ... max. 3 drinks (beer / wine) to your meal + 50% discount in the bar; fine with me but did not find this information on the booking.com page treadmill did not work

This hotel is fabulous. Our 2nd time here and didn't disappoint. Staff are so friendly and helpful...nothing is too much trouble especially staff in pool bar. We booked 2 junior suites which were fabulous...v clean...towels changed everyday and cleaned too. We were all inclusive soft which suited our needs brilliantly no complaints. Pool towels provided and robes / slippers. Location is so handy to shops / bars and airport is only 10 mins away. A brilliant stay...well done Occidental Playa de Palma..we will hopefully be back next year.

Common areas were kept lovely and clean. All the staff we spoke to were friendly, helpful and they always seemed happy. Food was very good with a nice variety of items on the buffet and cooking station. All the items were topped up regularly. There was also a microwave in the restaurant if, like me, you want your food very hot. I think the staff in the restaurant worked exceptionally hard. Sometimes we had to wait a while to get a drink but it was not the fault of the staff. You could see they were busy. Perhaps the hotel needs one of two more people in there at busy times. If we were in the area again we would not hesitate to go back.

As previously mentioned possibly one or two more staff in the restaurant at lunch/dinner. Especially at the start of service.

Reception team were always really helpful. Hotel was immaculately clean, room was tidied daily and towels changed. All staff were very polite. Room balcony faced towards the sea and had good sunshine on it for large parts of the day.

Rooms are not insulated for sound so you will hear your neighbours and any activity in the hall ways

Loved our upgraded room (payed for). It was a Junior suite or an appartment. I wasn't clear which. It was in the garden and incredibly quiet. We never heard a peep at night. Food was of a decent standard and what we expected. Plenty of choice even for me on a low FODMAP diet.

The initial standard double room booked via booking.com was a disappointment. It was very, very small. We could not move or put our bags down.. More suitable as a single room. We got a good price offered on an upgrade and were happy as larks with that.

This is a high quality hotel. The standard of the food is really good and the staff are efficient and friendly. There is a good indoor pool which is useful when staying in the winter.

There was nothing to dislike but it would be nice to have more English language TV channels.

All the staff were friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Dinner was good, too. I loved the fact that you had a pool where you were able to swim lengths. I swam every morning 🌄. The rooms were spacious with a good-sized balcony.

The air-conditioning in the room was not cool enough. I found it difficult to sleep. I was so hot..

Our second time at this hotel and we couldn't fault a single thing. Our room was fantastic, staff were very friendly especially ladies in the pool snack bar. Food was good with great variety. Location is very good with no long transfers from airport.

Food could be warmer at meal times but only a minor fault.
