Anahita Boutique Hotel

This is the perfect budget hotel right in the center of Malaga! I had room 306, which was great for a solo traveler as long as you aren't tall as it had a slanted ceiling. The room isn't trendy or updated, but it was just fine as I was never in my room. However, the bathroom was gorgeous with a shower and soaking tub. As with all hotels, especially in Europe, the soap bars are tiny, so take your own. They provide shampoo, body wash and lotion. Excellent customer service, especially Sara! If you don't want to pay 40 euros to get to the hotel from the airport, it's so easy to take train and take a taxi from the train station, or bus 1 takes you to the Plaza de La Merced, and the hotel is a half block from the Plaza.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel only a few minutes walk out of the centre of Malaga. The interior was absolutely stunning and so well decorated. Sara was very kind and upgraded us to a better room due to a last minute cancellation. The room was gorgeous with a huge bed, a fantastic freestanding bathtub and beautiful shower room. The Aircon worked well and the bed was very comfortable. We were also able to leave our luggage there whilst we explored Malaga.

The only small negative was the fact that the entire road was being dug up at the front of the hotel. Aside from being a more unsightly view, it didn't effect us at all and we were not disturbed by noise whilst we were there.

Anahita was the best hotel experience I’ve had all year, and I’ve stayed at over 30 hotels this year. The staff upgraded us to a nicer room for free, and it was extremely luxurious yet modern. The rooms are truly uniquely beautiful. Moreover, the staff is incredibly kind and accommodating — they let us keep our bags with them until the evening after we checked out, accommodated our late check out, helped us find and iron, etc. the location is also unbeatable, very close to the best restaurants and cafes and the central square, as well as being a very short walk from the ocean. I could not recommend this place enough!!!

Location is amazing, you have places like Picasso museum in 200m on your left and Cervantes theatro 100m on your right. Rooms are spacios, warm, if you get lucky as we were you will be upgraded for free to a room with an amazing bath tube Staff is amazing and professional Also, there is no loud noice from the street although the hotel is in the heart of old town with bars and restaurants nearby

Just nothing

I stayed at this lovely hotel for 4 nights, as a solo female traveller. Really lovely period building that’s been tastefully decorated and ideally located. The room was spacious and the air con worked brilliantly! I LOVED the big bath tub and in the evenings relaxed here watching 90s movies - the dream! I had dinner in the restaurant on one of the nights and it ended up being one of my favourite meals of the trip. So I also really recommend eating here too! The staff were super friendly and helpful.

My bedroom was on the side of the building closest to the street, so it could be quite noisy in the evenings - nothing major though! If I was to return, I’d still want to stay in the same room! If you think that’s something that would bother you, I’d ask for a room that doesn’t look out into the street.

I have traveled a lot, but this was far and away the most comfortable bed I've ever lain in. Hands down. We had the Duplex Deluxe Room with a king size bed on the top floor. You sink into it and sleep as if on a cloud. Breakfast was à la carte, with lovely fresh orange juice and excellent coffee. The staff were beyond friendly and helpful.

The best hotel in Malaga location wise and the premium duplex room was both affordable and stylishly designed. It has thoughtfully designed features like a charging point near your bed and the two floor arrangement is quite charming with a nice big tub and hot water and perfectly functioning ACs. The staff is quite polite. Keep in mind their duplex rooms don't have a good view, but the amenities of the room compensate very much for it so my stay was an absolute delight. The location is at the historic centre and I enjoyed the fact I didn't use the cab even once because I could walk everywhere from here!!! Loved it!!!

The beds are very comfortable. Everything is clean. It’s impossible to imagine a better location. The bathtub in our room was he most luxurious I have ever experienced.

Boutique hotels have character by their very nature. There are some quirky things, but none of them worth complaining about, and some are cute.

Excellent hotel and room with lots of lovely furnishings and quirky differences, such as bath in bedroom. Couldn’t have been a better location, near all main attractions, bars and tapas restaurants. Room 201 has two lovely windows overlooking the street which can be closed up with shutters so it’s not noisy at night. The restaurant looked very nice and the breakfast room was live,y but we didn’t actually eat there.

Had to ask for toiletries and tea bag’s topping up, they seemed to get missed!
