Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice

Showers didn’t work in an otherwise fabulous Spa. Dinner was not available on our second night. ‘Restaurant’ full. We had a meal in town. Phone call from reception at 9.pm to say ‘didn’t you have a table at 8?’. No one told us.

We went to the hotel for the Fiesta de San Juan, a special Christian night celebrated on the 23rd of June every year, the night before St. John's day; the patron Saint of Catalunya. It was a well planned and jolly occassion starting with a Cava reception at 8.30pm followed by an excellent outdoor dinner to the sound of violinist who then turned her skills to a cello and later an vibrant electric cello as the gathering got more lively. The fireworks didn't really disturb the event despite going on until about 3am. It is a short drive from Barcelona and a good escape for a more tranquil setting.

The problem with spa resorts is their maintenance. Despite a very good choice of treatments several of the ancilliary equipment was not working nor was the nearest lift to take us up to our bedroom on the first floor. It was a 75m walk to the lift at the other end of the building. Spa resort really should make sure all the equilpment on offer is working.

Spa, Breakfast (incredible!!), Room facilities, Spa, Spa, Spa, Spa, Spa, Spa, Spa. I would also comment on the attention to detail (bathrobe, slippers, flip flops, hand soap, shaver...)

The room was SO hot. It wasn't adjustable from inside the room. Had to open the windows. Good quality of everything. It was noticeable that the hotel was off-season.

We enjoyed the delicious breakfast menu, and the very nice and enjoyable items on the evening dinner menu. The Reception Staff, and the the Restaurant Staff were very helpful and friendly.

The location of the Hotel was very pleasant and within walking distance of the shops and restaurants.

Everything was very good - parking is easy, hotel is close to the town but quiet and contained in its own right and our room was excellent ( ask for 109 if there is a choice !). Dinner too was first class.

One slight criticism is that the spa could do with a little work. It's still good but basic maintenance would ensure it does not slip in standard.

Really lovely hotel in a nice place. Stayed here for the Formula One Spanish Grand Prix. Nice proximity to the circuit and the staff were super lovely

If you want drinking water outside of breakfast hours, you have to pay for it. Other than that, everything else was superb

Air conditioning too cold & unable to regulate. Was suggested to move to another room but none of the air conditioning units were able to reduce the temperature so ending up turning off as got a cold in the process.

Quiet area. You're in town but you actually feel like you're in the middle of a forest. The food is good and parking is free. The personal is kind and friendly. The swimming pools are great, both inside and especially outside.

The hotel looks like it needs a renovation. At least on the outside. And on the swimming pool ceiling. Also, I couldn't find a sauna. Maybe it was closed as an anti-covid19 measure, don't know. Ah, and they do not allow pets. :(

The spa is amazing, with two zones, pool and hot and cold showers and plunge pools. The saunas were closed due to covid. The spa package is great value for money. The location is also good, in a very pretty small town with wonderful examples of modernist architecture.

Both indoor and outdoor bars were closed so there was nowhere to relax if one doesn't want a full meal.

The hotel is like an oasis, the spa area is absolutely amazing. I had a balines ritual and honestly it was one if the best massages I ever had, ask for Juan if you book it.

That the spa closes between 2pm and 4 pm
