It's near the historical quarter. The parking lot just behind it charges 22 euros/day but hotel guests have a discount and pay 17 euros/day. Granada is a city in which strangely regular taxis are cheaper than Uber; and the receptionist has called some taxis for us, that came very quickly. The monastery complex has a school for children and a social center with activities, and we saw a ball offered to the local community on Sunday afternoon. Very interesting! Breakfast very good and beautiful old building. Restaurants and supermarket nearby.

The room is very tiny, but we could adapt to it.

Beautiful hotel in a great location, about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Granada. On the other side of the river, there's a little park where people gather in the evenings - sometimes with musicians busking. The hotel is a converted monastery and has a lovely central courtyard with orange trees and a well. The ground floor corridors are beautiful - tiled floors, walls and arched wooden windows looking into the courtyard. I upgraded my room to one with views and a private terrace and it was so worth the money. The terrace was large and had stunning views of the Sierra Nevada mountains. From here you can hear the chapel bell chiming on the hour! Good breakfast, friendly staff, great location for solo travellers. Some other reviews complained about the noise from the sports fields next door - it didn't bother me to be honest.

I loved the setting; it's an old monastery, and having such a grand entrance to a hotel (with your own church next door!) is rather splendid. The central courtyard/cloister is a joy; even in February we were able to sit outside in the sunshine, and the old corridor around it is lovely. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful (and, again, the big old monastery room it's served in is airy, spacious and lovely). The bedrooms are old but clean and comfortable. The hotel is located just outside the bustle of Granada, across the river, but it's a short, pleasant walk into the centre (10 minutes).

Nothing could have been better - it was all excellent.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The location was central. The building was well maintained, Breakfast was good.

No daily bottle of water in the room. At a retail cost of a few pence and with the price charged for the room, for the hotel to provide each guest with a daily bottle of water would be expected. It is at many hotels. The hotel did have machines dispensing water fir €1.50 - triple the price in a supermarket. No tissues in the room. Again, this is expected at a quality hotel. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room.

Simple elegant clean room decor with very comfortable bed. The perfect quiet location from this charming hotel in a beautiful old monastery setting to reach the centre of wonderful Granada just a few minutes walk away. A plentiful breakfast buffet and friendly staff. All historic sites easily reachable. 30 minute walkup to Alhambra. Same distance to station for further exploration of Andalusian cities via AVE trains. Affordable and highly recommended.

Place was located in walking distance to cafes, bars and parks. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly.

Parking garage around the corner which hotel has agreement with, kicked me out as soon as I got a ticket from dispenser. Attendant was abrupt and rude. In Spanish, shouting it was only for local church attendees. Attendant made me do a U-turn around ticket dispenser which was a very tight space and cars were lining to enter and exit. Attendant guided me into a broken pipe which scratched the rental car. It took another hour to find parking.

Location, staff,

The room was a bit cold in January as the temperate control didn't work well to warm up the room. There are 3 single beds in the small room, we asked for 2 twin beds. They refused to move the extra rollaway bed that take up the space in the room. The bathroom get flooded everytime we take a shower. Its a simple fix but it seems that the management didn't bother to fix it as I read the same complaints from others. Can hear some noise from people playing soccer outside until midnight.

The building itself is beautiful. An old monastery, beautifully restored and absolutely stunning. The bedroom was large, clean, comfortable and made up every day. The breakfast had loads of choice and great coffee. The staff were helpful, forgiving when I tried to speak spanish and failed, and friendly. The location was amazing. 5 minutes walk from the conference venue, right on the river and on the edge of the historic centre. Half an hour to the Alhambra There was a small supermarket justacross the river or a larger one 1.5 km away

Nothing really.

The room was a very good size with a big bathroom (great towels) and balcony furnished with table, chairs and umbrella. The courtyard and public spaces gave an air of tranquility. all very clean. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was delicious.

The location was a little far from the main attractions but it didn’t concern us as there were a pleasant stroll away - taxis and buses were plentiful should you wish to use them.

Location was great and the front-desk staff very pleasant and helpful. The architecture of the old monastery was beautiful. Breakfast was tasty with a lot of variety.

Beds and pillows were not really comfortable. Air conditioning worked but was noisy. Maid staff were not friendly, some did not even respond to "good morning" in English or Spanish. Such a contrast to the front desk staff we wanted to mention it.
