I have read the various bad reviews complaining about this and that, but get over it! The hotel doesn't pretend to be glamorous, just a straight forward place to use as a stopover and not cost a fortune. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed comfortable, the shower good and the staff helpful. The fixed price 3 course evening meal was first class (€15 including wine/water) and the breakfast plentiful.

The hotel is located on the edge of the industrial area of Burgos, about 7km from the cathedral and other tourist hotspots. But hey, it's just a kilometre from the motorway and the parking is free!

Nice spacious room and bathroom with bathtub to soak in after a blustery walk. Food served at restaurant was delicious; Castilian soup and rabbit stew, wow. Easy checkin/out by friendly helpful staff who spoke good English. Great value over all. Many pilgrims avoid this route to Burgos and use prettier river path. This route has wide walking path and lined by warehouses and light industrial factories. Although not pretty it’s not dangerous and it was interesting to see how some of Spain’s economy is being served.

Travelled with 2 dogs. Hotel only charges €5 per dogs. There is large grassy wasteland behind hotel good for walking them and seating out the front where you can eat and drink with your pets. Price is cheap for the room and if you have a car you are 12 mins from centre of Burgos. Hotel is clean and friendly. Beer is cheap

A bit noisy at night with doors banging. No AC or fan so if it’s hot and you are a light sleeper I’d recommend eat plugs cause with windows open there’s plenty of road noise

Room comfortable and well-planned. We liked the hotel layout and the general ambience. We enjoyed the set lunch menu with wine, which was very good value for money, and the service was just great. Lovely receptionist in the evening, for whom nothing was too much trouble.

The daytime receptionist was definitely chewing wasps on both days we had interaction with her. Surely a little common courtesy isn't that hard to achieve?

the rooms suited our group and we’re exceptionally clean. The staff were all friendly and did their best to accommodate us, even when our dogs wanted to go out at 3am. I stupidly left my earrings in the bathroom, after contacting the hotel they kept in touch with me and let me know that they had been found, they then sent them on to me at the place I was holidaying. I can’t thank them enough for doing this for me and would definitely stay here again.

Spotless rooms, spacious and renovated. Air conditioning unit is working well. Rooms on the street have a great view of the hills across but can be a bit noisy when guests leave early in the morning. Otherwise, enjoy the sounds of the birds singing.

No internet access in the rooms on the 3rd floor (201, 203). Parking is on the street and is pretty limited close to the hotel. GPS directions were off are the most direct street to access the hotel was blocked off by restaurant tables. We needed to go via A127 and took the first street on the right after leaving the village (just before the gas station across the street.)

This was a gem. Out of town a bit, but only 10 mins by car to the centre. The food was good midweek when the business is brisk and the staff were exceptional!! Good free parking. It's a commercial traveller hotel with some truckies, and they always know where to eat well! Good food, even the set meal, 3 courses with wine, and good value.

No soap in the container in the bathroom but they gave us some.

We arrived after a long day's drive on our way to Bilbao to catch the ferry. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming and the room we were allocated was spacious, spotlessly clean (as were all areas in the hotel) and above all the bed was extremely comfortable. We had opted for half-board when we booked as it was convenient for us and we were not disappointed. Dinner was good and offered plenty of choice and was great value for money (including a bottle of wine). Breakfast the next morning again offered a good choice and the coffee was good. All staff from reception to the restaurant and housekeeping were friendly and welcoming. I won't hesitate to stay again next time we are in the area.

There was nothing not to like. The hotel itself may be a little dated but what it offers for the price can't be faulted - easy parking, clean, comfortable, good food and friendly staff, what more could you want?

Great stop off point driving down to Malaga. Bonus that they accepted pets as I have 3 small dogs that were allowed in the room with me. Room was larger than I expected - very clean. The bathroom was also very spacious.

I couldn't adjust the radiator in the room as the temperature in the room was very warm. I guess not bad as it was 3 degrees centigrade outside.

Well located stopover on the way to Portugal. Near the motorway, fuel and a supermarket. Excellent value for money if you take the evening meal which includes a bottle of wine. Always busy with Spanish workers confirming excellent value.

Rooms clean but all a little tired perhaps. We noticed everything been decorated since last year. Location is 15 minutes drive to Burgos so we eat at the hotel.
