Hotel Alisi

The best value for money anywhere I have experienced. A warm welcome awaited us from reception. After a 9 hour drive this was appreciated. A very central location, five minutes from the town centre. A secure garage was appreciated, 12 euros per night. Clean room with en-suite bathroom. The room was very small however that did not matter as the hotel was fantastic value for money. May I recommend restaurant El Lagar de Isilla. The food was typical of the region, in season try the mushrooms. The bonus was that the restaurant has 15th C underground caves for the dinners to visit after our supper, a real march back in history. These caves were once used for wine storage when Carrefour was not invented :)

I would have paid more for a better breakfast. By better I mean more choice of foods to eat. My cold egg and bacon sandwich would have tasted better hot.

Location is excellent - just a few minutes walk from the Old Town of Aranda de Duero. The room was quiet (it looked into an inner courtyard). Bed was very comfortable. It came with a TV. The bathroom was adorned in beautiful marble. Shower was good. The heat, from the radiator in the bathroom, meant the place was always nice and warm and cozy. The towels were even soft and cuddly!! Staff, too, were very friendly and courteous & spoke good English.

We stayed here on route to the Santander ferry, and it proved to be an ideal stop over. It is very easy and quick to get to and from the motorway. Easy and secure parking. Very friendly and efficient check-in. Basic hotel but spotlessly clean and comfortable. 10 min walk to old town which is pleasant and a nice place to stop for 1 night. Some good restaurants in particular El Lagar de Isilla (baby lamb and their own wine excellent).

Tea and coffee in room would be nice but cafe downstairs attached to hotel so not a big issue.

The rooms are large and airy and we had a balcony attached. Everything is always exceptionally clean and the staff are all lovely and friendly 😁 it's a short walk into town but there's also a small cafe in the hotel if you don't want to venture far.

The only issue at the moment is the state of the road outside and never knowing whether you'll be able to get directly to the hotel or have to find a way round! This is NOT the hotels fault but can be a bit of a nightmare!

Location near to the old town. Easy to find eateries there, as the hotel does not have a restaurant.

The second time we have stayed and one again everything is great. Secure garage parking for motorcycle and an extremely friendly helpful ladies at reception. A short walk into town for some goodnfood and wine.

Very clean and seemed secure. We walked to a lovely nearby park and restaurants.

We had 2 rooms. AC didn't work in one of the rooms, but we were only there one night, so didn't have time to report it and get it fixed.

Property was fine, but not warned that road in front of hotel was closed for repairs. So parking was hard. When I found hotel on foot they were really helpful. Their garage available and access sorted.

The main eating location is the other side of the river only a 10 min slow walk.

The bedroom and en-suite bathroom were spacious and had everything we needed. Garage parking for our car was made available across the street for a small fee. The staff were extremely helpful and assisted us by printing out the documentation we needed.

The continental breakfast was adequate although limited.

Very comfortable beds and clean room, although a bit on the small side, especially the single room. Location is in a quiet part of Aranda about 5-10 minutes on foot to the center.

The cafetería which serves breakfast has limited space and gets crowded in the mornings. No real options for lunch or dinner nearby the hotel unless you go to the center.
