First of all the team here are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. It was cold and damp outside so asked if we could buy some food from the supermarket opposite and eat in the dining area as it was closed on a Tuesday. We were made very welcome. Excellent value for money, dog friendly and free parking just a few metres away, what’s not to like. To add to our experience, Lerma is absolutely stunning. We will be back on our return visit, hopefully when it’s warmer 😀

Nothing to dislike

The hosts at this hotel could not be more welcoming and charming. The room was spotless and warm with very good WiFi. One of the best breakfasts of any hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Wide range of things to tempt you and, again, spotlessly clean and in an attractive bright room. The hotel’s location is just round the corner from the five minute climb up to the main square and the Parador. It’s always a delight to return to Lerma and knowing that this hotel is here at a bargain price adds to the anticipation. Highly recommended!

Nothing whatsoever to dislike.

Although the outside isn’t spectacular, the hotel’s interior is very nice. The solid wooden stairway and pretty touches in the common areas provide an upscale feel. Our room was very comfortable. The bed linens and towels are superior quality, the room was a perfect temperature, the WiFi is fast, and the water pressure is great. The continental breakfast was good, served by the very friendly staff. Our reservation process, check in, etc. was perfect. The location can’t be beat with a free parking lot across the street, and a few meters away from the portal into the historic town center. The hotel is an incredible value, and we will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Lerma.

Pleasant and helpful staff, easy check-in. The room is basic but convenient. Very central location. Heating works fine.

There is wifi in theory, but in reality it is not existent. The free breakfast that is included is not a breakfast buffet, but a very limited choice and amount of one pastry, one juice and one hot drink.

Very welcoming hotel I had to change the date of my booking due to the cancellation of my ferry it was no problem at all the receptionist dealt with my request over the phone and we stayed there two days later than originally planned. Good customer service

There was nothing not to like the room was perfect the staff were very friendly it was in a great location I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this place to anybody

Great communication, friendly staff, fantastic buffet breakfast, room and en-suite very clean however quite compact. Location is just off the main route to Santander (where we had a ferry to catch the next day), and right by the walls to the old town, easy parking close by.

There was nothing we didn't like and we would happily stay there again.

Perfect place to stop off on the way to the Bilbao ferry. Lerma is a beautiful town, quite stunning. This small hotel has been very nicely renovated in a building dating from 1926 and the family who run it are friendly and charming. Breakfast is included in the very reasonable price and is plentiful and delicious. You do need to be able to use stairs as there is no lift. It's a short but interesting walk to the main square with its fabulous architecture, friendly bars, shops and restaurants specialising in the superb Burgos cuisine.

Spotless throughout and staff very positive. Great Breakfast . Check in and out very straightforward. Lerma main medieval town (uphill) is worth exploring.

NO air-conditioning in rooms despite images of the same on the website. I should have read the fine fine print before booking.

Very comfortable, great location, lovely staff, very clean and cosy bedding. A delightful stay.

The room itself was very warm, even without the heating on. We had to open all the windows to cool down in the night.

Great quiet location with free parking opposite the front door. Adequate breakfast is included with an option to upgrade to a full buffet. Room lovely and warm, plenty of hot water and good WiFi.
