Hotelette Seoul Station

Super nice owner, it’s just enough for what I need and it’s also super clean. Great location, seems to be the closest hotel to Seoul Station, easy to find too since it’s right behind the gigantic bright police station. instead of exit 10 I tend to come out of 9-1 so it’s a smooth path if you have heavy luggage. exit 10 has stairs. I see people posting about the bathroom- this bathroom style is common in Singapore households so it was no problem for me at all, so if you’re ok with that, stay here!

limited space to open luggage so you can only open it halfway. wouldn’t recommend if your luggage is past medium size and if you plan to do a lot of luggage rearranging.

The location to Seoul station which is the main hub for trains, buses and ktx trains is unbeatable as it is just outside of exit 10 (opposite main road of Seoul station). Room is small but very comfortable. Owners were kind and helpful.

Lack of sound proofing walls so I could hear the next door person plugging and unplugging the sockets and from upstairs the water/toilet flowing down the pipes- well at least that is what it sounded like. Not a major problem as I was there only for 1 nite.

Nice place. Perfect location - almost all interesting places in the city center can be reached on foot. And the metro and the railway station are a few minutes' walk. The staff sent me detailed instructions on how to find the hotel, that was really helpful. They are very pleasant people. Very comfortable bed. Non-smoking rooms. Since they provide single rooms, there is no voice noise, it is quiet.

The soundproofing is not very good - you can hear the sound of water in the pipes when someone takes a shower or flushes the toilet. If you open the window for ventilation, the noise from outside interferes, perhaps from some powerful air conditioners nearby.

Location was perfect for my KTX in the morning. I slept so well after a long flight from USA via Canada.

I didn't have a problem with this but since I have to take Air Canada because my town in the USA doesn't have direct flights, I am never sure about the plane arrival time because the Toronto air port is notorious for late arrivals. I was nervous about the hotel being locked up if my plane was late and I saw that they close down at midnight. I am returning to Korea in April and I may try to stay at Hotelette again but I fear my plane being delayed so I probably won't make a reservation but just risk checking in when I get there if I arrive on time.

The hotel is very close to the Seoul Station, just a few steps from Exit 10. It is well-run and efficient, clean, convenient and serves my purpose of being close to a station. The room is very small but my purposes was a clean, safe and convenient space to sleep and rest and it is a perfect fit for me.

As is the case in all hotels in Korea, the mattress tend to be hard but I have no trouble sleeping on my sides. My room is right next to the reception so I heard some comings and goings but it's all quiet when I went to sleep.

Hotelette is one of the best, super reasonable & affordable price but you can experience the great service and environment just walk 5-10 minutes walk from Seoul station`s main building. The room and facilities are very simple, cozy and highly clean and sanitized. It is enough to stay 1 person in the room and all the shower, bathroom are equipped in the room so you can fully get done all the things in the room. There are 2 towels, free bottle of water, high speed wi-fi, cable channel TV, and all other stuffs you may have in 1 cozy room which you can feel very efficient. Also well sound proof wall the floors I could feel. The host was a nice couple (1 man and 1 lady) and they were very friendly and being nice to correspond our request. Moreover, you may be fascinated to see that you can walk from the exit no.1 of Seoul station, and just to walk till exit no.10, which is connected underway so even in case of rainy day, you do not need to worry and can safely walk through without getting wet. This is one of the biggest advantage to choose this hotel if you have many luggage to carry. From exit no.10, you may walk just 1 minute to reach to the hotel. Through my many business trip and leisure to visit Korea over last several years, this is one the best cost-efficient hotel and easy to access all the places of GangBuk area so as easy as access to GangNam area because the metro is there only 1 minute walking from this hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you fully want to enjoy Seoul (prior to GangBuk area) area not only highly cost-effective but also could rest & sit back in clean & nice environment.

Nothing special. Everything was perfect and equipped with nice facilities and environment.

Loved the location as it was very near Seoul Station (although access can be confusing if you're from KTX / AREX trains). Private bathroom was good and adequate for use, and towels were provided (you'd be surprised by how many accommodations don't provide big towels in South Korea). There was also a TV with local channels, which I was pleasantly surprised by.

Space was pretty small, but you get what you paid for, plus if you're only there to sleep for one night before making your way to the airport, then there's really not much to complain about. No mini fridge but it wasn't a dealbreaker for me, just an fyi.

The property was right behind the police station across from Seoul Station and it was easy to find. There was an elevator. The manager spoke English and explained everything in a very straightforward way. The room was clean, compact, and comfortable, warm in the winter, with a private bathroom area and some toiletries.

It was hard to get to the property from across the street from Seoul Station, because there is much traffic, and only one crosswalk at the other end than where the hotel is. It might be helpful for patrons to go underground and use the subway exit 9 to get across the street.

Hotelette Seoul Station is conveniently located a few minutes walk from the central bus and train station in Seoul. My room was clean and neatly organized to make my stay comfortable. The managers were very kind, helpful and quick to respond to any messages through the Booking.com app.

The room was quite small and it would have been nice to have a desk to sit at and a mini fridge to store small food items.
