ENA Suite Hotel Namdaemun

The hotel is well situation in City Hall subway station which is connected to other subway lines The staff is super friendly. I appreciated that they helped us with our requests (they even put a letter under the door to give some updated news, which is amazing. I have never seen that before!). Towels, slipper, soap are changed everyday. New bottles of water everyday I appreciate the technology used like pushing a button inside the room to tell "make room / do not disturb" instaed of having to put a paper outisde the front door of the room. The is a nice bakery shop where we used to going for breakfast close to the hotel

You need to leave on exist 9 at City Hall which is pretty long walking distance in the subway... There are not electric sockets close to each bed, so you better bring a multi plug to connect several things at the same time...

Staff were friendly and always greeted us when we came into the building, they also had English speaking staff who helped us to check in. The room is very clean and the beds are super comfortable! Location is great as it's close to the markets and shops in Myeongdong. There is also a convenience store outside the building which was very useful. 감사합니다^^🙇‍♀️

Hotel is surrounded by great and reasonable restaurants which is hard to beat.

Prices really went up since last visit, possibly because of covid. Also Namdaemun shopping closes a lot earlier with a lot less street food vendors, again possibly from covid.

ENA was the first of 4 properties we booked for our Korea, it was also the least expensive of them all. First impressions was that it was clean, comfy and had a bunch of foreigners. Our expectations for the next 3 properties were very high and It wasn’t until we left our 4th booking and realized that ENA raised the bar so high that we were woefully disappointed with our other stays in Jeju, Busan and the Conrad back in Seoul (which was triple the price!). Definitely would recommend ENA to anyone who is budget conscious or not, because it doesn’t matter. It’s that good. Thank you ENA for our stay!

Was not aware that everyone needed to wear swim caps in the pool.. even for us who are folically challenged and shave their heads.

Fantastic location beside City Hall subway station, just 1 station away from Seoul station, travelling from Incheon airport was a breeze. It's also beside exit 9 of the station which has elevator access and made our lives a lot easier because we had a baby stroller on our trip. The room was spacious, very comfortable, clean, and decently equipped (microwave, dining table, coffee table, large leather sofa, etc). The reception staff, while not fluent in English, we very helpful and managed to help us call a few local places to make bookings and reservations for activities we had planned. They also helped us book an airport taxi which removed any anxiety of being conned by some random taxi off the street.

We stayed during Covid and the restaurant wasn't opened for breakfast so we had to go out everyday in the morning. Being located in a business district, the area is heavily populated with coffee shops, convenience stores, and bar/restaurants, but not many family style restaurants so if you are travelling with children it may be best to spend dinner time elsewhere.

The room was a good size. We managed to fit both our suitcases on the sofa by the window. The room was nice and quiet, although in the morning you could hear the music from one of the stores downstairs (we were on the 5th floor). The location is excellent; it's right next to City Hall station which allowed us to easily get around Seoul. The shower was also very good and the air conditioning was very effective.

The bathroom and the bedroom were split by a loose sliding door and there was no door for the toilet section so there was a bit of a lack of privacy. The toilet is positioned behind a shallow wall next to the sink. This wasn't a huge issue for us though as I was there with my partner. Also the pool was closed due to covid but that couldn't be helped. The bed was also quite hard so be aware as this might not be comfortable for some.

housekeeping was done every single day and fresh sheets were given along with other things such as toothbrush, hair comb, toothpaste, hair wash, body wash, new slippers, new robe. everything was good! if we had known about new toothbrush and toothpaste EVERYDAY we wouldn’t have packed so much! so nice to have new packets of everything every day. such a clean place and easy check in and check out. staff was lovely and tried to help as much as they could. communal areas was clean and you could get cash from the machine in reception so if you didn’t bring enough cash then it’s no problem. overall very convenient location wise and room wise. oh also the room is SO BIG, the king size bed could fit 4 people! view was nice and very soundproof. thank you :)

Second time staying at this hotel. First time was last August. Really great hotel and location. Staff was helpful. Would want to stay here again if I come to Seoul next time.

Very clean, very comfortable beds, very spacious, fantastic house keeping staff and reception staff. Very close to City Hall Station. Closest to exit 9. Fantastic hotel, we will definitely stay there again.

the location was excellent. it was close to all the palaces in the old city. walking distance from great shopping. the staff were friendly and helpful. the facilities were very clean. overall a great value for money

a bit difficult to spot. tucked away in a. corner. but that also added to the charm as it was close to the eateries where the locals socialised after work.
