Beachfont. The location was perfect, a 10/10. Breakfast was ok, I am a picky eater so I am never the best to advise when it comes to food but my husband really enjoyed his breakfast. He said it was even better than the breakfast we had at one 5* hotel which means it was amazing. I just wish I did not smell onions in my pineapple, seems like they used the same knife. I don't know. But the place is situated at the right spot, walking distance to the mall on one side and some local restaurants on the other side. I will definitely be back, value for money.

It's not so much a property problem, but a people problem. Because Town Lodge attracts group bookings, you are GOING to get group bookings. I don't have a problem with those but it gets really annoying when these large groups of people are inconsiderate of others and make noise THE WHOLE NIGHT. We hardly slept on our last night because one of these groups behaved like animals and made noise the ENTIRE night, yes the whole night up until 6am in the morning.

The location is amazing. We never ate breakfast. The staff were friendly. Our accomadation was comfortable and clean. We stayed here a year ago and we are glad to see the towels were upgraded and the pillows were newer. The lifts were working well.

We arrived on Wednesday evening. The hotel was full until Friday. We stayed in Room 113. The noise in the passageways was ridiculous loud. The noise went on until after midnight. Other guests were banging their doors, screaming across to other rooms. Unfortunately, there are no phones in the rooms anymore. And we didn't want to walk down to complain. I think guests need to be told to respect other guest living in the hotel.

Where the hotel is located it has access to everything. The place is safe. I also liked the swimming pool.

The new receptionist from KZN. She is new or something. She needs to up her customer service. She was unfriendly. We need phones in our rooms so that we can call room service instead of going down to the reception whenever you need assistance.

I loved the warm welcome. I was allowed an early check-in and assisted me to get a room with a Seaview. The staff was friendly, and as I was a solo traveler, I never felt alone. They advised me on places to go to in order to explore Gqebhera. Everyone was too good, but Bongiwe stood out for me with a warm soul. I will definitely stay at the Town Lodge PE again

The buffet dinner was standard and pricey

The breakfast was expensive and not as great as in previous years (2019 & 2020). It was too expensive and offered less.

Breakfast must be affordable and provide value for money, like in previous years. Sea-facing should not have extra costs. In previous years sea facing did not have extra cost. Stick with the winning formula. If it is not broken do not change it. Greediness will make you lose customers

This is a central beachfront hotel although we didnt have a sea view room this time (I didnt request it). We love the lobby / lounge / patio area and the consistently high standard of cleanliness everytime we have stayed there.

We accept that storage in the room is limited which means we may not return for longer stays - it wont be as comfortable. It was also very noisy this time - but thats entirely dependant on what other guests are there at the time and given the price of the rooms - its an acceptable compromise. Admittedly we didnt love the bar of soap - we find bath / hand wash more hygenic. There was no hand lotion. And our pyjamas were left unfolded on the side tables. All easy fixes if they are raised by other guests too.

Typical hotel of this callibre, no issues, room clean all good in terms of facilities

Little thing, But Had cup of tea on day one, day 2 no suger left in room, Silly I know, but its relevant when all hotels are trying to get our business, and I travel most weeks so consider myself an expert in the silly things that give issues, as did the toilet door that refused to stay open when shaving and cleaning teeth along with the shower nozel that really needed a good clean so all jets worked and did not leak out the side of the head, Silly but you did ask

The cleanliness was exceptional, and warm in the room.

I didn't like seeing the security guard outside during the night/day by the entrance of the hotel for the cars, in the cold and heavy winds. I think the hotel has to build a little deck for the security guard to sit in whilst waiting for guests to enter the premises, i mean its only a human thing to do. But other than that, the stay was phenomenal!

Location is beautiful, so close to the beach. Our only problem was that other people staying in the facility opposite us on the same floor were very loud so we struggled to get to sleep.

Maybe there should be some sorts of signs to indicate that people should respect others using the facilities, especially late at night. We were so tired after our long trip and really needed our sleep, but it was difficult due to the loudness opposite us and in the passage.

The hotel serves breakfast, and supper. 👍 The hotel allows Uber Eats and Mr D into the hotel, for delivery straight to your room. The hotel elvish water conservation. 👌 The staff were friendly. The staff checklist to ensure that your room is cleaned everyday and that the cleaning is up to standard. 👍

I found the fact that there were two separate elevators, one from the basement to the hotel lobby, and one from the lobby to the hotel rooms a slight inconvenience. The satellite tv options are limited.
