The location for us was ideal. Right opposite a pleasant partially open shopping center and many good restaurants. Good beds and nice little kitchenette. Double doors opening into a small garden. Many units on the ground floor. Great breakfast.

The shower is over the bath so a little slippery (even with the provided anti-slip mat)and a climb to get in when you're short like me. If you don't want to be woken up every day before 08.00 you have to put a 'do not disturb sign' out.

Not really a hotel but an apartment/hotel complex in an ideal location directly across from the Rosebank train station, a huge shopping mall with lots of restaurants and a Super Spar grocery, and the terminus of the hop on/off bus. We were upgraded to a one bedroom unit when I asked for a room closer to the front gate (mobility problems), but even the smaller, studio apartment was handsome and spacious. The Courtyard is also a gated property which is a little off-putting, but then I guess fences and gates are standard for Johannesburg.

Absolutely nothing. Great place to stay in Johannesburg.

Upon arrival, the Manager at the front desk Sizwe immediately informed me that there were water problems being experienced in the area, and asked if I preferred to be moved to a separate hotel. I declined and decided to stay because I had initially booked here for the location. The water problems were rectified quickly.

Its not really great hearing that there is no water back up at this hotel. Water tanks are a simple thing to implement. It would be great if your hotel also converted a room or two into a gym. For its prime location, this should be a priority. I know there is a gym across the road but crossing that busy road is actually an inconvenience. You have the capacity to do better.

Great location across the road from the mall, rooms were nice and spacious, felt very safe within the grounds of the hotel with security etc. Staff were lovely!

Breakfast could be improved, airport transfer organized through the hotel was quite complicated in terms of payment to the driver etc.

I love the location, because its close to all major amenities. You get off the Gautrain and its right next to the train station. Its close to the major food outlets and banking services. Accessible to Uber.

Was woken up at night by the security personnel, this happened three times. Their system was telling them that my door was open whereas in actual fact it wasnt open. I had to call them and then they discovered that it wasnt my door but the room opposite. So that means their system is somehow faulty.

Everything and I mean everything except the TV. The garden and plants set it apart it doesn’t feel like you’re in the city. The food was good, it took a while but I understood they were short staffed

The TV, it’s time for some upgrades. Smart TVs would be appreciated.

The hotel attrated me when I saw from outside clean friendly staff .inside my Room was 100% clean I falt like king when I was sleep there thank u to all the management 👏I'm so very happy about u courtyard hotel 😊😀

Great location for eating and shopping and perfect for our visit to Joberg. We booked it as it was across the road from the Gautrain and the hop on hop off bus stop. There was plenty of parking available for this that had cars. The staff were very friendly and professional

Location is awesome! It's conveniently right across the Rosebank Mall. Swimming pool was good too! Staff were helpful in arranging airport transfers for us.

There were no lifts to go to the rooms, only stairs. We had heavy luggages with us but thankfully the hotel staff was responsive and helped us.

The location is extremely convenient -- it is directly opposite the Gautrain station and the Rosebank mall, not to mention the great test kitchen restaurants just down the road (they should tell people about these on their site!!)

No fault of the hotel, but load shedding and water outages are very inconvenient.
