Austria Trend Hotel Ljubljana

Beautiful place, kept in a modern and high class type of way. Located a little outside the city centre, but well connected to public transportations so every point of interest is reachable within 10-15 mins by bus. Everything was in really good condition and always perfectly cleaned up, with lots of space to feel nice and comfy. Each and every member of the hotel crew has been overwhelmingly nice and helpful all the time, also regarding the fact that we were travelling with our dog (he even got his own dog bed in our room). All in all definetely highly recommended - we will gladly stay here again for our next trip to Ljubljana.

If I had to pick at least "something" - we caught a feeling, that the bar crew seems a little understaffed during the evening peak times from time to time - we once tried to order some food via room service and nobody was available. We then ordered directly in the restaurant and picked it up by ourselves, which was no big deal for us, but can be negatively experienced by some other clients.

Large clean room, comfortable bed, well-funcioning air conditioning. Good breakfast.

No storage room for bicycles. The staff gives you the feeling that cyclists are not welcome, because before greeting you they warn you where you cant leave your bikes, even if it was only for a short time. Thay have a stand for 5 bikes only in the afternoon sun, very close to a busy road.

The experience was excellent. We were in transit for only one night, but everything was great. Big room, very clean, and relatively quiet. The staff was very helpful and professional. Breakfast was delicious. As a tip for breakfast, first walk around to see everything they have. That way you don't miss on some of the goodies, like I did.

It's not really a negative, but the parking is limited in front of the hotel and you have to book it in advance. We searched a bit on Google Maps and found this one. "Dunajski kristali javna garaža ". It was 12 EUR for one night and it's 5-7 minutes away from the hotel by foot. highly recommend it.

Spacious, clean & modern room. A kettle in the room with tea, coffee sachets. Although the location is a bit far from the city centre, there were many buses from city centre, stop in front of the hotel.

Staff lack of local transport knowledge- We were informed only bus no. 6,11 get to the hotel but obviously no. 8 too. No. 8 is very obvious written on the bus stop, just outside the hotel. Being totally new in Ljubljana, we asked the reception what bus stop to get to the city centre, he said " I don't know, Ljubljana is small..." he made no effort to check with the other two staff members nearby which is a the classic example- lack of enthusiasm to help...

The reception staff are just wonderful! Great personal attitude with a sense of humor and super eager to help. The rest is on par too - the room, the bed, the bathroom. The spa (for an additional cost) is great too, as is the 24 hour gym (at an extra cost too). Have not tried their breakfast, but suspect it would be on the same high level as the rest. There is a bar as well, but in case you want to diversify, a few other dining options are available within a walking from the hotel.

The only downside is the location, which is not within a walking distance of the city center. However, all that is negated if you have a car, don't mind taking a taxi or using public transport, in which case it's a short 10-15 minutes ride there.

Excellent hotel, great breakfast with a lot to choose from, fresh and deliciously prepared. Big, spacious and quiet room with a very comfortable bed. All is very clean and well maintained. Professional, polite and efficient staff at the reception. Amazing gym within a hotel, you have to pay a little but it’s worth the money. Also there is a beautiful Spa to relax after a busy day. I will definitely come back again.

The location is not central but it’s only a short distance away, buses and taxis are easy to get and not to expensive. Bus stop is in front of the hotel.

Welcoming front desk made the stay better. The room was big, light, spacious and comfortable. The whole hotel facilities are second to none. We didn't have time to go to the spa, but it is there for you. The breakfast is extensive, cozy, variety to please any taste.

We originally thought it the location was out of town, but it isn't. A 15 min by bus and it is not expensive. Worth every penny. The hotel sells the local bus travelcard and add money to it on request. Great touch.

The room was very spacious and clean with enough space to put our things. You could also see that the room was recently renovated. The staff was very friendly and professional upon our arrival and was available at all times during our stay.

I can´t say that there was anything, which we didnt like. A point to pay attention to would be the parking situation as the hotel only has a limited number of parking spaces. We got around mostly with car sharing, however there is a bus stop directly across from the hotel which will take you to the centre.

clean and silent room - good wifi - excellent staff (I booked wrong dates but at reception solved immediately without sensible change of rate: thank you very much to all for good attitude) - restaurant overachieved my expectations: quality of food and waiters were excellent!

breakfast a bit expensive (probably due to convenient room rate I had): next time I will book with breakfast included...even if such level of hotel should have included as standard..however it is not a proper claim, it is a point of view: it won't effect my sure next stay

The hotel provided clean and comfortable rooms, creating a delightful overall experience for us during our stay. The room was spacious with a fantastic view, adding to our enjoyment. Moreover, the hotel staff were all friendly and helpful.

The location was quite far out of the city which resulted in us having to use busses which is fine in the day however busses stop at midnight so you have to rely on taxi’s to get home any later. Breakfast was expensive and not a lot of choice on the buffet.
